Xray XB8 & XT8 aluminium high torque flywheel

Xray have introduced their new lightweight aluminium high torque flywheel for the XB8 and XT8 nitro kits. The Swiss 7075 aluminium 3-shoe flywheel helps to increase acceleration and improves throttle feeling. Strategically lightened compared to the standard #358532 flywheel, the lightweight variant does not sacrifice strength or durability. The highly polished and thus very smooth flyweight pins are factory-attached and the knurled outer edge makes for easy starting on the starter box and an integrated cover prevents dirt from entering the engine bearing.

Willspeed YZ2 Cal 3 & XB2 Take One D arm mounts

Following their B6.1/B6.2 Take One D arm mount Willspeed now also roll out D arm mounts for the Yokomo YZ2 and the Xray XB2 2020 and 2019 kits. Designed for carpet racers, The TakeOne D hangers remove 1 degree of in-board toe-in, racers to achieve 0.5 and even 0 degrees in-board toe. The capable in-board toe-in range is 0 to 3 degrees with no change to anti-squat adjustment. Rebellion-RC T4’20 Crossflex aluminium chassis

RC-Carbonstore have introduced their new Rebellion-RC Crossflex aluminium chassis for the popular Xray T4 2020 mid-motor touring car. The chassis was developed for the use in medium to high-bite traction conditions with its highly machined design allowing for optimised flex characteristics that can be greatly influenced with the use of up to twelve optional brass inserts that not only add weight in the lowest area of the chassis, but they can also be used to change the overall torsional flex characteristics. The idea was to become able to adjust the weight-balance as well as the flex individually with every insert by using different fixing positions without the need of changing the whole chassis; with a standard chassis being always hard front/rear or soft front/rear, but not hard front/soft rear. When the brass inserts are fixed at a 90 degree angle to the driving direction they almost have no influence to the flex, but if attached using the remaining – cross-positioned – mounting points, the inserts decrease the flex. To make the system work the fixing points for the “hard” setting are 0.3mm lowered to make for a free movement at “flex” setting, and when using the “hard” setting drivers need to insert the included 0.3mm shims to be able to access the desired “hard” flex settings. The chassis is machined from high-quality aluminium, it comes black anodised for wear and looks, features a laser-engraved Rebellion-RC logo and it weighs in at 83g alone and up to 130.9g using the optional brass inserts.

And so the 2020 variant builds on a redesigned 3mm 7075-T6 aluminium chassis that is 4mm longer for improved overall stability while the included hard composite radio box increases chassis rigidity and handling consistency.
