Wallie Builds have announced the release of new carbon fibre chassis side guards for HB Racing, TLR and Xray 1/8th off-road kits. Moulded from high-quality carbon fibre the side guards will both looking good while protecting the chassis in long mains. The side guards are available for the HB Racing D819, E819 and D817T as well as the TLR 8ight-X and the Xray XB8’19, XB8E’19 and XT8.

A new brand is coming out of SoCal, WellRC Racing by nitro guru Walter Diaz. The first products are body cut templates and starter box plates. Starting with the WellCut templates, they were designed to take the hassle out of mounting ProtoForm R18, R19 and P909 bodies. They are placed on top of the body and accurately trace the cut lines for engine, air filter, fuel tank, roll bar, top end needle, and rear body post holes. Made from high quality ABS plastic for long life, the templates are available for Mugen, Serpent and Xray cars.
Xray have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming all-new T4 2020 electric touring car kit. According to Xray the car will be a complete redesign with spy shots of prototype cars suggesting a move to the now-popular mid motor/mid spur gear design and possibly also newly designed, longer A-arms. Coming for RC-Cox’s Xray T4 Mid conversion kit is an aluminium motor mount plate. The cross-shaped alloy part connects the centre bulkheads, providing more cornering speed and chassis flex settings. The part is machined from high-quality aluminium and it comes orange anodised to match the remainder of the car’s alloy parts.
7075 Special Parts from Italy have announced the release of more aluminium and brass option parts for the Xray T4F FWD touring car. First up is a LCG 7075-T6 aluminium chassis that is stiffer and narrower than the original carbon fibre chassis, making it ideal for medium to high-bite track conditions. Excessive machining of the rear portion still allows for a certain amount of flex, retaining good rear end side bite. The chassis is available separately or as combo package including front, centre and rear end brass weights.
Made for Xray’s new X12’20 1/12th scale pan car kits are three new high-quality screw sets from Hiro Seiko. The range includes a lightweight full titanium fastener set, a mixed orange aluminium and titanium ultra lightweight screw set as well as a low-CG kit that includes orange aluminium screws for the upper portions of the car and heavy stainless steel screws for the lower chassis area, ensuring a lower overall centre of gravity compared to just using lightweight screws. All three are made of high-quality material and they are available now.

Zero Tribe have announced the forthcoming release of an aluminium main chassis plate for their Xray T4 Mid mid-motor chassis conversion kit. The lower main plate comes machined from 2.0mm aluminium and its design allows for optimised flex characteristics when running in medium-high to very high-bite track conditions, ensuring optimsed balance and an easier to drive car. The release is scheduled for mid-October.

Following a first teaser image, PSM from Germany have finally unveiled their new DTC and HTC touring car aluminium main chassis plates. These unique chassis have been specially developed to suit medium-low and medium-high grip conditions. The DTC Delta Traction Characteristics chassis feature delta shaped cut-outs to provide soft torsion characteristics along with consistent performance. The softer flex allows the car to generate more mechanical grip, which is helpful in low grip conditions and/or very tight tracks.
