Yokomo have announced the addition of Italy’s Nico Catelani to their factory team. Nico inked the 2-year contract last month when he met Yokomo’s Tom Yokobori and he will focus mainly on 13.5T Stock racing including the ETS but he will also race the Italian Championships as well to qualify for the World Championships in Beijing next year.

New from Yokomo come graphite suspension parts for the YZ-2 1/10th 2WD buggy. Available are front suspension arms in flat and gullwing specification, C-hubs as well as steering blocks all of which are made in a harder graphite-reinforced composite that was developed with this year’s IFMAR World Championships at the Japanese Yatabe Arena in mind. As for the different design front arms the flat type was developed to offer maximum stability while the gullwing arm gives more steering.

Made for Yokomo’s Drift Package cars with RWD option is the new aluminium steering knuckle set. The knuckles feature five different upper camber link positions and four different steering Ackermann points to allows for a wide range of steering scrub, trail, kingpin angle and Ackermann adjustments including positive and negative Ackermann settings. Included in the set are the left and right steering blocks, 1050 bearings and new wheel axles.

Following a dedicated line of Precision Spur Gears for the Team Durango DEX line of buggies Revolution Design Racing Products now introduce the Precision Spur Gears R2 for the use with Team Associated, Yokomo and VBC 1/10th scale off-road vehicles. Coming in the wide Revolution2 design the gears offer a high durability when using low-turn modified motors while offering exceptional efficiency for stock spec classes too. All gears feature machined venting and weight reducing holes to minimise heat build-up when running a soft slipper setting and they come with engraved size markings for easy identification. The gears are available as stock racing 72T and 78T variant and as modified racing 83T and 87T gears.

Made for the BD7 touring car are new double joint universal driveshafts from Yokomo. Offering improved durability and reducing unwanted wheel chatter at high steering angles the driveshafts are made from high-quality steel and they come including a pair or ball bearings.

Coming soon from Team Azarashi is the Fascia bodyshell for the Yokomo YZ-2 2WD mid motor off-road buggy. Offering Azarashi’s distinctive cabin design that highly separates itself from the current breed of radically shaped cab forward bodies the Fascia sports a somewhat oldschool shape with flowing lines and a pretty narrow cab. The body is made from clear, high-quality polycarbonate and shaped to snuggly fit around the chassis lines.

Coming end of July is Yokomo’s latest incarnation of the club-level BD7 ver.RS electric touring car. The ver.RS3 offers some high-end features such as a graphite main chassis, graphite upper deck and graphite front and rear shock towers along aluminium upper bulkhead covers, aluminium split inner suspension mounts, aluminium motor mount and SLF short shock absorbers. Also included in the package are a front spool and a rear gear differential.
