Zen Racing have introduced their new double left clamping positive wheel lock hub for 1/12th scale pan cars. This new design left clamping hub will fit any of today’s 1/12th scale axles and it is made to give a positive location to the wheel which when secured will not twist or buckle. The double clamp screws also ensue the hub does not slip on the axle and supports the hub to run true. The hub is wider than normal hubs so rear track width adjustment may be required.
Zen Racing have introduced the Team-Associated-style rear slide pivot mount usable on a range of pan cars. The piece allows to use the new AE-style pop-on pivot ball holder on any car using the old style fixed pivot. All that is needed apart from the pivot mount will be Team Associated’s #4728 for the pivot ball holder to use this centre pivot mount.
Zen Racing have introduced their new aluminium inserts for the NOS 1/12th scale front end. Coming machined from dark anodised aluminium the inserts allow to lengthen or shorten the car’s wheelbase by 1mm in order to fine-tune the handling characteristics. Included in the set are four flippable inserts.
To celebrate the inaugural GT12 Worlds being held this weekend at the Centre:MK, Milton Keynes, UK, X-Factory UK in conjunction with RCS Graphic Worx have released a series of limited edition chassis skin sets for three of the most popular GT12 chassis on the market. Available for the Mardave Venom, Schumacher Atom and Zen Racing RXGT12, the skins come pre-cut, including chassis screw holes and each package contains two skins.
Zen Racing have introduced a composite LiPo brace with O-ring battery retainer for the RXGT12 1/12th on-road kit. Replacing the standard carbon fibre brace and allowing the use of an O-ring to fasten the LiPo battery the set does away with the need to tape the battery into the chassis. Included are the LiPo brace cut from high-quality carbon fibre and two rubber O-rings.
Zen Racing have introduced their new RXGT12 pan car kit for the popular GT12 racing class. With a focus on a simple and easy to work on design the car features simplifications where needed while maximising the important aspects to improve handling and performance. The car utilises a black-anodised aluminium main chassis for a low centre of gravity, a low CG rear pod design and a 3-bolt rear diff assembly with thrust bearing. The front ride height is easily adjusted using supplied shims with the front suspension also featuring spring steel axles and flanged ball bearings. Rear tweak adjustments are performed using side springs inside the damper tubes and the fully adjustable rear ride height can be fine-tuned using the included adjusters. A delrin pivot hole makes for bind free rear pod action and also part of the package are hard-coated pivot and stud balls, aluminium servo posts, black aluminium turnbuckles, a Kimbrough servo saver and a 66T 48 pitch spur gear. The kit is rounded out by a set of wheels and tyres.
New from Zen Racing and made for a range of 1/12th scale pan cars is the slot pivot. Sporting the same footprint as the standard Team Associated centre pivot, it takes only seconds to install and forget about. Due to the open design the pivot ball is free to move forwards and backwards in roll, reducing the locking effect and on top of that in the event of a crash it simply resets, doing away with tweak issues.
Zen-Racing’s inline bellcrank conversion is a simple kit to convert the Zen RSGT12 to inline LiPo configuration with bellcrank steering arrangement. The bellcrank offers much more control over the Ackermann change and can improve the ability to run more lock and gain further corner speed on tight hairpins. Having the LiPo in-line will improve the change of direction but not increase the overall steering feel, this is complemented by using the bellcrank steering option.
