HB Cyclone brushless motor mount

Hot Bodies have announced that they will be shipping this new motor mount for their World Championship winning Cyclone touring car. Available in 3 anodised colours; purple, blue and black, the new motor mount is made especially for mounting brushless motors by providing more space to allow you to use up to 110 teeth on the spur gear. This is done by allowing the motor be mounted further away from the center shaft.

Japanese firm Riemon Speed Works have released these pictures of their soon to be released shock bodies. Made from aluminum, these gold anodised shock bodies will be made available for the Tamiya TRF501X (left) and the Kyosho RB5 and Laser ZX5 (right).

Made to perform at the highest level of competition buggy racing this new wing meets all current, and expected future, racing regulations. Designed by ex Aeronautical Engineer, specializing in Aerodynamics and Avionics, Angelo Economou, who is also the owner of Team Cobra Racing International, has applied for a patent for this wing in Europe, Australia, Japan and the USA.

HongNor X1CR Shock Towers

HongNor X1CR Shock Towers

HongNor have released some new upgraded shock towers for the X1CR Buggy which are CNC machined from 5mm aircraft grade 7075 T6 aluminium. Both new towers have been hard-coated with special material for wear and durability and the front tower now has multiple half holes at the top and 3 mounting holes at the bottom. The rear towers have half holes at the top and an extra row on the bottom inside which gives more setup options for different track conditions.

Its lightweight, using super light lexan material, which is also very durable and the use of supplied adhesive-backed foam provides an anti-skid surface on the top and bottom of the stand. Finally, because the stand is supplied as clear lexan, you can custom paint it in any way you wish, just as you would with your car body.

Japanese brand, Trion, have released this cooling fan and heatsink combination, suitable for all 540 type motors. With cooling becoming so necessary as battery power levels get higher this type of product becomes more and more efficient. This particular version has a motor that rotates at 10,000rpm to take away as much heat as possible while to make this system best suit you car, the fan can be mounted on 3 different positions on the lightweight aluminium heatsink. The fan, which is powered from your receiver, is also available seperately.
