MIP Pucks B6 series 17.5 Drive System 67mm

MIP have introduced the Pucks 17.5 Drive System 67mm for the Team Associated B6 series of buggies. It features an aluminium based drivetrain system which includes a 2-piece aluminium outdrive cup and aluminium outdrive hub, two Bi-metal bones, and the replaceable plastic orange wear Pucks that take the place of the inferior steel pins. This combination greatly increases the longevity of the drive train and most importantly decreases the drivetrain’s overall rotating mass by 50 percent. The decrease in weight directly results in quicker acceleration, deceleration, and lower motor temperatures. The set includes all needed parts including the ball differential but except the diff gear and wheel axles. The kit is available for pre-order now and will be produced if 125 pre-orders are received until November 8th.

Updated Capricorn C803 front bumper

Capricorn have introduced an updated front bumper for the C803 1/8th on-road car. The part features a higher rib in the rear section that leads to increased overall stiffness while the updated design also allows to mount the front body posts directly onto the bumper, doing away with the need to use an upper plate. Using bumper-mounted body posts will improve the overall downforce available and the bumper is usable on all of Capricorn’s 1/8th on-road cars. An extra upper plate is included in the set to further strengthen the front area but it is only usable with C803 based cars.

RCSS B64 LCG Relocation shock towers & upper deck

Coming from RC Speed Secrets and made for the Team Associated B64 and B64D are the carbon fibre LCG Relocation shock towers and a carbon fibre front upper deck. Starting with the shock towers, RCSS relocated the holes to align the camber link above the hinge pin and added some extra LCG tuning hole options in the same position. The result is a car that tracks better while promoting sweeping turns versus more choppy turning. The towers also offer more tuning options for higher traction surfaces like carpet, turf, and high bite clay. Although in testing showed that it is best to run both front and rear LCG towers, Team Associated’s Spencer Rivkin just used the rear tower to take a 2nd overall at the recent International Offroad Carpet Championship.

Serpent F110 SF3 wide front end set

Serpent have released a wide front end set for the F110 SF3 formula car. Included in the set are a wider 2mm carbon fibre suspension plate, a wider castor plate as well as ball cups and turnbuckles. Using the set creates a slightly wider front track width that will help with consistency especially in high grip conditions as it makes for a less aggressive front end without taking away side bite. The wider setup also reduces traction rolling issues on very high-traction surfaces and it is thus highly recommended for the forthcoming carpet season and when running on sugared asphalt tracks.

Infinity IF14 aluminium flex main chassis

Coming from Infinity and arriving in time for the indoor carpet season is an aluminium flex main chassis plate for the IF14 touring car. Made from 7075 alloy with a black anodised finish, the design and cut-outs of the fully symmetrical 2mm chassis has been optimised to offer perfect chassis flex. Weighting approximately 13g heavier than the carbon chassis supplied as part of the standard IF14 kit, the new optional aluminium chassis is suitable for creating a lower centre of gravity which is particularly beneficial when racing on carpet or on a high grip surface.

Mon-Tech Racing T4 Space Deck spacers

Italian company Mon-Tech Racing has introduced the new Space Deck top deck spacers for the Xray T4 touring car. The ultra-flexible spacers are made from 0.4mm material and they can be used alone or stacked to heights of up to 1.2mm in order to lift the top deck to the preferred height. Doing so is understood to ultrafine-tune the flex characteristics of the car. The pack includes eight spacers and it is available soon.
