Tekin RX4 brushless rock racing & rock crawler ESC

Coming from Tekin is the new RX4 rock racing and rock crawling brushless electronic speed controller. The waterproof speedo offers features such as a high-voltage BEC, widely adjustable brake settings, data logging and it can also drive brushed motors. The HotWire PC interface allows for advanced programming and updating and gold-plated solder posts make for easy wire replacing. The controller measures 40.6×50.8×35.5mm, it weighs in at 75.5g and it is usable with 2S to 4S LiPo batteries.

JConcepts Swaggers 4WD front tyre

JConcepts have added the Swaggers 4WD front tyre to their range of dedicated carpet and astro turf tyres. The tyre has a multitude of heights and angular ribs for corner speed, consistency and straight-line tracking ability. They are designed for the width of a 4WD front wheels but will also fit a standard 2WD front wheel for increased grip when needed. The ultra low-profile carcass keeps a 4WD buggy very predictable and consistent in high-grip conditions while pointing the vehicle in the correct direction. Side-wall ribs in a circular pattern add to the exterior of the tyre to support high-grip racing. The pink compound marked with two pink dots on the tyre represents a new compound for JConcepts, a medium soft material with good wear characteristics.

Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 material and coming black anodised and with silver chamfered edges for looks, the parts add rigidity and visual impact in the radio tray area of AE’s latest 1/8th buggy, with a set containing two posts.

Protoform have introduced the 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 bodyshell for the VTA and other vintage touring car classes. One of the iconic cars of its generation, the Z28 tore up both the streets and Trans-Am series tracks with pure American V8 power. In true Super Chevy style, Protoform replicated the distinctive “split-bumper” configuration along with all the other signature Z28 design details for an exceptionally scale look. For the first time in PF’s VTA body lineup, the Z28 is formed from a single piece of genuine Lexan and requires no assembly. An all-new moulding process developed by the engineers at Protoform has allowed to capture realistic front and rear undercuts on the Z28 without the need for an add-on nose piece. The officially-licensed product meets all VTA Class rules and includes a detailed decal sheet, protective overspray film and window masks.

Hobbywing QuicRun WP Crawler Brushed ESC

Hobbywing have introduced the QuicRun WP Crawler Brushed electronic speed controller for 1/10th and 1/8th scale crawlers. The compact unit features adjustable PWM frequency and advanced DEO/freewheeling technology for a very linear throttle and driving feel. Fine-tuneable settings such as drag brake and brake force allow for improved vehicle control with a total of 15 different parameters being user-adjustable. On top of this the controller is waterproof for go-everywhere capabilities and it sports a powerful 6V/7.4V BEC system. It comes pre-wired with an XT60 input connector and is adjustable using the incorporated set button or the included LED programming box.

Wildfire D09 brass suspension weight & alloy chassis

Coming from VBC Racing are two new option parts for the Wildfire D09 touring car. First up is the FR/RR suspension weight that directly attaches to the outer suspension brackets. Weighting in at 8.2g the part helps to quickly and conveniently alter the weight distribution. The weight is usable in the front and the rear and it includes suitable mounting hardware.

RDRP B6 carbon fibre front bulkhead brace

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced their new carbon fibre front bulkhead brace that is designed to replace the standard aluminium part on the Team Associated B6 and B6D buggies. Although made for one of the more hidden places of the AE’s sixth generation buggy the brace adds some factory looks and feel while also being highly precise for improved inner hinge pin support.

MCD Racing RR5 aluminium option parts

Turkish large scale specialists MCD Racing have introduced a range of option parts for the RR5 1/5th scale 4WD gas off-road buggy. First up is a wheelbase extender kit that enlarges the wheelbase to 610mm. The LWB setup will help with stability in fast corners and on very bumpy tracks and the set includes the lower aluminium extender bracket, a 181mm LWB rear centre driveshaft, a rear chassis stiffener, bodyshell extender and rear wing mounts. The set targets experienced modellers as it requires to modify the existing aluminium chassis in quite a heavy way.
