FTX Outback Texan 1/10 Trail RTR

Inspired by the classic pick-ups from the 1940’s and 50’s the new FTX Texan blends old school retro looks with the latest in RC crawler chassis design. The classic cab body features scale exhaust stack, external airfilter, moulded grill, mirrors, wipers and a moulded flat-bed rear roll cage with spare tyre, they have even included two different decals for the rear flat bed, choose either a panel wood or checkerplate finish. The Texan features no body clips or posts, with a magnetic fixing at the front and hinged rear for smooth, uncluttered scale looks and easy, quick chassis access. Underneath the Texan features a low profile, cantilever rear shock absorber set-up to provide the platform for a flatbed rear assembly. Moulded internal wheel arch lining and side floors add further scale realism, along with beadlock wheels and dust cap.

Redcat Gen8 Scout II V2 crawler

Redcat have introduced the V2 version of their Gen8 Scout II 1/10 Electric RC Scale Crawler which was originally introduced at the end of last year. The updated platform sees new heavy duty axles & portal gears, newly designed heavy duty axle housings, a flat skid plate, a 25kg metal gear servo and updated body colours with clear windows. This professional rock crawler includes C-channel frame rails, low centre of gravity battery tray, centrally mounted divorced transfer case, lockable slipper clutch, portal axles with metal gear covers, MOD-1 gears, machined aluminium spools, front CVAs, 32 rubber-sealed ball bearings, threaded aluminium shocks, 47º steering blocks with proper Ackerman, Panhard bar, LED-ready bumpers, winch-ready front bumper and frame mounted floor pans. The highly detailed fully licensed International Scout II body comes with hard plastic grill, plastic folding mirrors, moulded inner and outer fenders, shackle mount front bumper, receiver hitch ready rear bumper and plastic rock sliders.

Ignite Design RC bringing back gas truck

Ignite Design RC have released and interesting new project, a Nitro conversion kit for the Associated T6.1/6.2. Created by Chad Parks, his wish was to rekindle his love affair with gas truck from the late nineties. Using a modern TC6 as a base, the conversion kit is very complete, including new chassis plate, top deck, receiver box, fuel tank, engine mounts, braking system, clutch, air filter and throttle/brake linkages. The end result looks very high quality, with some nicely machined aluminium and carbon fibre, and works as expected. They are currently taking pre-orders for a December delivery.

IGT8 Nitro GT 2021

Following on from their teaser announcement two weeks ago, IGT8 have finally introduced their Nitro GT 2021 chassis. An all new platform some of its key features include a straight line transmission, ultra-low mounted tilted engine and open diff, with safety cover providing easy access to the differential. The multi-flex chassis system and centred braces with built in flex option give lots of setting options while the ultra-low radio tray with laydown servos keep the centre of gravity low.

Xray XB2 2021 1/10th 2WD buggy kit

Xray have released the full details on their new XB2 2021 1/10th 2wd buggy. This latest iteration puts a focus on the front of the car, with particular attention paid to the steering system. Improved steering system geometry makes the car more predictable, easier to drive and faster in high speed corners, while new steering parts include new steering arms, new Ackermann plate, new servo link, and a new offset servo horn. The XB2 now includes 3-slot graphite steering block extension for improved steering in slower corners and more corner speed in high speed sections. New front and rear shock towers with denser upper shock mounting positions provide ultrafine set-up adjustments and longer front shock shafts and shock bodies maintain proper down travel with the new shock tower. The configuration is now unified for both Carpet and Dirt editions for all track conditions. Other new items include new front roll centre holder with a wider mounting position to reduce diving effect in high speed corners and integrated anti-roll bar mount, all-new Gamma 2C body and Tec wing in the XB2C’21 for improved rotation in corners and better stability at high speeds, or all-new Gamma 2D body and Rank wing in the XB2D’21 for maximised overall grip and rear stability.

Arrma have released an EXB full option roller version of their Mojave 6S BLX 1/7th scale 4WD Desert Racer. Born from the biggest airs and harshest terrain, this car comes loaded out of the box with the toughest materials and most resilient design features, just strap in your preferred electronics and go. This version includes tons of aluminium parts as standard including a cool etched chassis, front and rear shock towers, front and rear chassis brace, top plate, servo mount and front upper hanger.
