Losi 1/14th scale Mini 8ight buggy

Based upon the ROAR-Championship-winning 8ight buggy, this brushless-powered prodigy is the ultimate mini buggy. Corally HMX touring car prototype

Dutch company Corally are showing of their latest touring car prototype called the HMX. Due for release in October there are no details available yet for the car other than the final version will differ slightly to the one shown in the image. But looking at the photo the stand out feature is the aluminium shock towers that see the tops of the shocks mounted on the ends using a ball joint, presumably allowing the angle to be adjusted using shims placed under the ball. More information as we get it.

Team Durango DEX410v3 4wd buggy

Team Durango have announced the imminent arrival of the DEX410v3. This new model is an evolution of the previous DEX410 model and features parts that have been tested and proven by their Team Drivers over recent months. Some of the new features include Big bore shocks which are more consistent on rough tracks due to the larger volume of oil. A new ‘Kuhler’ body with increased space inside the body and improved air flow to the electronics as well as new RR suspension holder that allows the rear squat to be altered using composite inserts. New ‘Fine Tune’ shock towers with finer adjustment for the upper mounting positions, and more rear camber link positions on the rear tower. New HD Ball Ends are used throughout that are tighter fitting and less likely to pop-off during a collision. 14mm Hex hubs that provide stronger and more reliable wheel fitment and gold Ti Ni coated shock shafts as standard for super smooth action. Expected to be available mid September.

Losi 5ive-T 4wd Offroad racing truck

Losi have introduced their new 1/5-scale 5ive-T 4wd Offroad racing truck, the closest thing to a full-size vehicle in realism, performance and experience. It features a 4WD drivetrain based on the racing-winning, award winning 8ight platform, Spektrum telemetry receiver, installed sensors and 1/4-scale servos. And since it’s a Bind-N-Drive vehicle, you complete it with the DSM transmitter of your choice.

On-Point Racing OP12C

On-Point racing was founded in 2009 and since then the interest in their products has risen. Their tuning parts for Team Serpent and Team Associated cars have had great racing success in the last 2 years and this was the reason for them to decide to produce their own 1/12 scale conversion kit, the OP12C.

Kyosho Mini-Z ZX-5 FS & Optima buggies

Having previously released some teaser shots of their new Mini-Z Optima buggy last month, Kyosho have today released full information on these palm sized buggies as well as introduced a Lazer ZX-5 FS version. Both cars are shaft driven mid motored 4wds and sport independent double wishbone suspension, 4 oil filled shocks, 2 gear diffs and a slipper clutch with the chassis having a 10 degree kick up on the front. A standard Mini-Z motor powers the buggy and the ESC can be adjusted by connecting it to a PC. The car also sports a chassis mounted gyro to make the car easier to drive by helping to correct the steering and throttle. It also comes with the awesome Tiki Tiki mode that allows a preset amount of full power boosts for great battles with your friends. The new Mini-Z buggies will be released in November of this year with or without transmitter.

ProSpeed Optima K1 buggy

New brand ProSpeed have released information on their first product, the Optima K1 1/8th scale buggy. Designed from the ground up it features a rear kick up, easy diff access, captured CVDs, front or rear battery mounting and cab forward body.

Team C Racing T8T truggy

Team C Racing have released some information on their new T8T 1/8th scale truggy which is expected to be released in September this year. Your standard affair, it will come with aluminium T6 7075 main chassis and shock towers as well as 16mm big bore shocks. We can expect full details when closer to its release date.
