HPI Racing Baja 5T RTR

Coming soon from HPI Racing is the Baja 5T, a ready-to-run 1/5th scale off-road truck that expands on the award-winning Baja 5B family. With the Baja 5T you get aggressive desert truck looks, high performance new features, and compatibility with many of the existing Baja 5B spare parts and option parts, wrapped up in a RTR package that gets you running in just a few minutes. The Baja 5T was inspired by the latest generation of desert trucks that compete in the world famous Baja 1000 race in Mexico. The body was built for a perfect fit on the Baja 5T chassis, with sculpted fenders, scoops, louvers, and an integrated roll cage for authentic desert-tough looks. In true HPI RTR form, the body is completely ready to go right out the box painted in your choice of black or white, mounted, pre-applied racing decals and tinted windows.

Mugen MBX-6 buggy – First photos

Mugen MBX-6 buggy - First photos

Mugen Seiki in Japan have released the first photos of their new MBX-6 1/8th scale buggy that is due for release later this month. Having already seen multiple CAD images of the car before, the design is not new to us but in these photos it looks to be very beefy with the thick carbon fibreshock towers and big bore shocks, and the car also looks to be very compact and narrow around the mid section.

Kyosho Inferno US Sports 2

New from Kyosho USA is the Inferno US Sports 2, a ready to run 1/8th scale buggy based on the World Championship winning Inferno series. The drive train rides on all ball bearings and the power from the super powerful GXR28 is transferred through a hardened steel clutch bell and spur gear. The gear boxes have hardened steel spiral cut ring an pinion gears and all the reliability that Kyosho’s reputation has been built on. Last but not least, the body comes fully detailed and a competition rear wing is added to make this buggy that much more ready for the track or the back yard.

Losi 1/10 High Roller Lifted Truck RTR

Losi have been in contact to tell us about their new 1/10 High Roller ready to run truck, built on a tube-style chassis with a realistic look, it includes an LM-32K performance motor, a 12RB Electronic Speed Control with reverse. The High Roller also features an easy-access battery compartment that accommodates standard 6-cell NiMh packs, vertical anodized shocks at all four corners, chrome 320-series wheels with unique, low-profile all terrain tires and much more.

Kyosho Inferno ST-US Sports

Kyosho have announced the release of the Inferno ST-US Sports, which is equipped with all the latest technology such as a 12 model memory, LCD display, digital radio with all the adjustments you would ever want. The drive train rides on all ball bearings and the power from the super powerful GXR28 is transferred through a hardened steel clutch bell and spur gear. The gear boxes have hardened steel spiral cut ring an pinion gears which means they were able to get the transmission ratio corrected for the large truggy tires without having to use a huge spur gear. This keeps the motor more centered in the car and the center diff lower to the chassis. A high torque steering servo has been spec’d for great steering accuracy and durability. Last but not least, the body comes fully detailed and a competition rear wing is added to make this truck that much more ready for the track or the back yard.

Associated SC8 Short Course Race Truck

Team Associated have officially announced the SC8, the first 1:8 scale, nitro 4WD offroad, authentic race truck replicas. Each SC8 comes decked out with one of four fully licensed race truck bodies, wheels and tires, designed to look just like the full size race trucks that run in short course off road series around the country.
