Trinity have announced the release of these new EP4600 matched cells, which are available in a number of configurations and come assembled or loose. The EP cells are a more robust cell which excels with its actual on track performance and is designed to not fall apart under high amp loads seen during actual racing conditions. Our team racers who tried them say they out perform the numbers on the track and last more than a couple of chargers like some other batteries.

Team Magic have released this lightwieght transmitter battery pack for use in Futaba brand transmitters. The size of the battery is just 93 x 46 x 11mm, while the weight of the whole item is only 133 grams. This means it’s a lot lighter than most batteries available, something you will notice when on the drivers stand. The pack itself uses AAA cells at 1100mah, meaning you will get lots of track time between charges.

Following on from yesterdays release of their new Intellect receiver pack, Xray have released new 5-cell (6.0V) and 6-cell (7.2V) inline battery packs made from ultra-high performance Intellect IB1400mAh NiMH cells. Suitable for use in micro cars, including the M18, these 2/3A cells offer low resistance and they will maintain their high voltage under load. The 1400mAh capacity is one of the highest capacities currently on the market, helping to ensure long life for long races. The pack features high-grade wiring and a pre-wired standard micro connector.

Carson have released a number of new products for assembling battery packs such as these soldering connectors, available in copper, gold and platinum. Sold in packs of 8, these soldering connectors are capable of carrying very high current and due to their design ensure that you have a 100% contact to your cell, which provides a very low contact resistance. Also new from Carson are 4mm gold contacts that are sold in packs of 2x sockets, 2x connectors and shrinking tube and have been designed for optimal conductivity, due to their low contact resistance and ability to stay free of oxidation.
