Dynamite Prophet Sport Duo AC charger

Horizon Hobby have introduced the Dynamite Prophet Sport Duo AC charger. It offers dual outputs, 50W of charge power per channel and it is usable with up to 6S LiPo or four to eight cell NiMH batteries. Two 4-digit LED indicators display charge current, battery type, charge capacity, cell voltages and error codes and charge current dials as well as battery select switches make for easy operation. Included with the charger come two banana-type to EC3 battery adapters and two JST-XH balancer adapters.

Racers Edge Ultra 120 Touch AC/DC charger

Racers Edge have introduced their new Ultra 120 Touch AC/DC touch-screen multi-chemistry charger. Featuring a new 16-bit CPU the charger allows for safe and accurate charging of Lithium-Polymer cells, including the new LiHV  batteries, as well as LiFe and a range of other cell chemistries with a charge rate of up to 12A, with automatic protection against reverse polarity input or output. A convenient 5V USB outlet delivers power to charge phones, tablets, or other devices. Advanced users can adjust the LiPo charge termination voltage to extract maximum performance, while a built-in cooling fan enhances reliability and efficiency. The control software allows the user to choose from 10 different alerts, beeps, and tones to provide additional personalisation options. The device includes removable AC and DC power input cords, balance board, charge lead with T-plug output, and stylus pen.

ProTek Prodigy 625 Duo Touch multi-chemistry charger

Coming from ProTek RC is the Prodigy 625 Duo Touch multi-chemistry AC/DC charger. The device features an intuitive and easy-to-use touch screen interface with no physical buttons to wear out. Two independently-controlled 200 Watt internal power supplies provide up to 25A of charge current per channel. The charger also provides important information during the charging process, including a data graph, internal resistance of the battery and individual cell voltage. Additional features include adjustable per-cell end voltage, worldwide voltage compatibility, automatic cell count recognition, and a Digital Power setting that allows to power additional DC powered equipment when you aren’t charging a battery. On top of this the charger offers a dedicated LiHV mode, allowing to charge the latest generation of LiPo packs to a voltage of 4.35V per cell.

HRC Racing Dual Star AC/DC charger

HRC Distribution have introduced the new HRC Racing Dual Star dual output AC/DC multi-chemistry charger. Offering two independent 100W outputs the device packs a bunch of features including up to 10A charge current per channel, a multiple security system for save and easy cell monitoring, it comes with two back-lit LCD screens and dual 4-button menu operation. The charger is usable with up to 6S LiXX batteries per channel, it offers a dedicated LiHV mode and utilises a black heatsink-design case. The features are rounded out by an USB port to power mobile devices or pit lamps and it comes including multi-language manuals.

Orca introduce 300W touch screen charger

Coming soon from Orca is a 300W LiHV-compatible touch screen charger. The device will sport a dedicated charge program for the growing range of high-voltage Lithium batteries, it offers up top 25A charge current and features a sturdy aluminium case. More images and all details will become available in time for the release which is scheduled for January 2017.

Elangears Elan R AI multi-chemistry DC charger

Elangears have introduced their new Elan R AI multi-chemistry DC charger. Based on the Elan R the AI variant comes with a new Lithium battery scan feature that makes for more convenient and secure battery charging. Before the charge process starts the device runs through a couple of routines, indicating the battery type and voltage to choose the best possible charge program and settings. After user confirmation the charger automatically starts the charging process and adapts the charging values if needed, based on the battery’s parameters such as voltage, current and internal resistance. The system is meant to minimise stress for the battery while still allowing for short charging times. With 100W of charge power the device allows for up to 10A or charge current with 1S to 6S LiPo, LiHV and LiFe batteries and it can also handle 1 to 14-cell NiMH batteries if needed. The charger is housed in a compact 91x120mmx45mm case and it features a backlit 2-lines, 16-characters LC display.

GForce G4 multi charger

GForce have introduced the G4 multi charger for 2S to 4S LiXX and 6 to 8 cell NiXX batteries. The compact device measures 69.4×110.7×40.5mm and it offers easy menu operation using a single switch and a push button. With up to 4A charge current the charger is good for the use even with higher capacity batteries and a dedicated LiHV mode allows to charge the latest high-voltage Lithium-Polymer packs. Included comes a variety of adapter wires including ones with Tamiya-style, T-plug and BEC connectors.
