Ideal for Reedy’s 1216-C2 charger as well as other IEC 320 C5 compatible devices are new angled AC power cords. They feature a 90-degree angle to minimise the charger’s footprint in cramped pit areas. A standard 1 metre length is versatile and easily plugs into wall or floor mounted sockets, while the 50 centimetre version works well for table-mounted sockets.

Vampire Racing have expanded their range of all-black 2S LiPo charging leads by two new variants with EH and PQ balancer connectors. The charging harnesses come pre-soldered with stepped 4mm/5mm dual plugs and a 2mm balance connector for the battery side and EH 3-pin or PQ 7-pin balance connector on the charger side. The 2S EH connector is a direct fit with LRP’s Pulsar Touch Competition, Quadra Pro 3 and Element Pro charger while the 6S PQ connector is usable with a wide range of devices such as the Team Orion Advantage Touch series, as well as many SkyRC, Reedy, ProTek, Hitec, and Dynamite chargers. Both the new EH and PQ charging leads are available in a short 400mm and a long 600mm version.
Team Associated have introduced their long-awaited 1216-C2 dual AC/DC competition battery charger. Thanks to a high-performance microprocessor and specialised operating software, the device is versatile, easy to use, and it incorporates many advanced features for hobbyists, casual enthusiasts, or hardcore racers alike. Simultaneous charging of two LiPo/LiFe/LiIo/NiMH/NiCd/Pb batteries at up to 12A is possible thanks to a powerful integrated power supply. Coming from Scorpion is a portable USB charger for the use with 2S to 6S LiPo battery packs. The compact devise is powered by an external LiPo battery that is connected through its balancer port and it allows to charge mobile phones, tablets and other gadgets with an 5V/2A output. The USB charger utilises several safety features including short circuit, overload, over temperature and low-voltage protection. The charger measures compact 78x25x17mm and it is available from now on.

Team Orion have bolstered-up their popular Advantage Touch Duo charger that will soon be available in the V-Max edition for the latest generation of LiHV cells. In terms of specs and features the Advantage Touch Duo V-Max is the same as the standard Touch Duo and so it features two independent 100W charge outputs for up to 6S LiPo packs and 10A of charge current but the additional LiHV charge mode allows to set the charge end voltage to 4.35V per cell which is required for the new high-voltage LiPo batteries. Other features include a 4 inch touch screen, internal balancers, multi language interface and a multitude of different programs including charge, discharge, cycle, storage and balance functions.

LRP have introduced their new Pulsar Pro all-round AC/DC multi-chemistry charger. It offers 80 watts of charge power for a charge current of up to 10A with 2S to 6S LiPo packs. A new feature is the adjustable terminal charge voltage that can be set between 3.8V and 4.4V per cell, allowing to charge the latest generation of LiHV cells with ease. The blue backlit LC display and the 4-button operation make for convenient use and the charger furthermore features a built-in balancer and a 5V/2.1A USB port.
Hitec’s X2 700 Multicharger is a high-performance dual output multi-chemistry charger for the use on 11V to 30VDC power sources. It features two 700 watt output ports – delivering up to 30A charge current – for increased capacity while supporting all battery chemistries, including the latest LiHV cells. The microprocessor control and Hitec’s free Charge Master software allow for full PC control of the charger through its integrated USB port, from basic setup to full software analysis of the battery’s health and performance. The new Synchronous Mode has the second output port automatically mirror the channel one settings to charge multiple similar batteries with minimal setup time.

HPI have introduced the Reactor 500 AC/DC multi-chemistry charger. The device offers up to 5A of charge current with its 50W power circuitry, allowing to swiftly fill 1S to 6S LiXX, 1 to 15 cell NiXX and 2V to 20V Pb batteries. Several safety features such as maximum capacity and maximum charge time cut-off makes for convenient usage even for beginners while multiple charging profiles make charging of different specification batteries such as receiver, transmitter or power packs a breeze. Menu operation is done via a standard 4-button design and the back-lit display helps to monitor most of the important parameters. The package is rounded out by an assortment of wires and adapters as well as a balance board.
