Losi have announced the upcoming release of a number of ROAR approved Xcelorin sensored combos which combine the performance features of the Xcelorin sensored brushless motor and Electronic Speed Control for the power and response needed for today’s R/C competitions. Xcelorin sensored BL systems provide a distinct advantage in situations where the supplied power must be controlled and precise. Reedy have released their new EU Spec IB4600, meeting the shorter length specification of 43mm, which have been treated and matched using the Reedy VMX Concept. This process makes these cells even better by applying an intense energy pulse to new IB4600 EU Spec NiMH cells using high-tech equipment designed in house by their engineering staff. The end results of this exclusive process are reduced internal resistance, increased voltage output, and more power. These enhanced cells are cycled then power-matched using a 35-amp discharge a process that eliminates weak cells and those that do not fall within the exclusive percentage that are good enough to be hand selected as Reedy VMX R-46 grade. Tower Hobbies AC/DC Digital Peak Charger

The Tower Hobbies AC/DC Digital Peak Charger with LCD features adjustable peak sensitivity from 3mV – 20mV to custom match specific batteries and automatically sets charge parameters based on the operating condition of the battery. The 2” x 8” LCD display is great for easy programming and use, showing battery volts, peak sensitivity, charge time, various current and capacity error indications and more. The unit stores pre-set charge parameters for up to ten batteries in memory and features multiple sound cues and melodies. Boasting solid-state reverse polarity and short circuit protection on input and output, the charger peak charges 1-8 NiCd or NiMH cells with charge current ranges from 0.1 to 5.0 amps (3A maximum with AC input). Adjustable trickle charge rates are from 0, 100mA and 200mA.
