Team Orion Marathon LiPo SLPB Rx packs

Seen at the Toy Fair at the beginning of February, Team Orion have released their range of Marathon LiPo SLPB Receiver Packs. Receiver packs are more important then most people realize with many a title being lost by drivers using substandard receiver packs that don’t delivery enough endurance or simply fail when the pressure is on. Wins are something Team Orion takes very seriously and with its World Championship team it needs the world’s best. These new receiver packs are available in 2 configurations, the 1500mAh hump pack shown above and a 1700mAh straight version.

Edit High Capacity Rx Packs

Edit have announced the release of some new receiver packs, including this High Power 3700mAh pack for the HPI Baja 5B. Enjoy longer run times with the nearly one third more milliamp-hours than the standard 3000mAh packs, so you can get out on the track and stay out long after other receiver packs have given up. Also available in Hump pack configuration are 2 more 6.0V packs, a High Power 1500mAh and Super High Power 1900mAh Receiver Pack.

Reedy Spec-19 Quad Mag Motor

Reedy will soon come out with this new 19-turn Spec Motor. Its been designed specifically for all classes of electric spec-class racing, from off and on-road to oval tracks and touring cars. It uses the Krypton’s trend-setting four-magnet can, standard-sized commutator, laydown brushes, distinctive bright orange endbell and more. Available in late April.

Losi 1/10 Xcelorin 6400kV BL Motor

These new 1/10 Xcelorin 6400kV motor from Losi is said to offer features and specifications desired by the electric RC enthusiasts. Features like low-profile solder tabs with a protective cover, precision ball bearings for smooth operation, Sintered Neodymium rotors and best of all no motor maintenance is required. Expect it to hit the market later this month.

Much More Trimming rod

Much More have released this trimming rod, which helps align the brush hood and tune brush damper, or push brush during motor break-in. By pushing the damper down gently with this tool the brushes will move freely without bending. During the motor break-in process you can push the brushes with this rod to sit them quickly, allowing you to be able to the read the correct amp draw for fine tuning the timing. The other side has a tool for standard 5x4mm brush holders and its length is designed to allow the fine tuning of the both brush holders independently.
