Pro Match Racing have announced the impending release of this new all new EnerG 4600MAh cell. Created in partnership with SMC Racing, this high drain type Ni-MH cell will go on sale from the 10th of December and will provide lots of power as well as great run times. Japanese company ABC Hobby have released the latest addition to their product range with the release of the EXDS, Expert Discharger. With the ability to discharge from 4 to 12 cells, this microprocessor controlled system has a maximum discharge rate of 10A while a linear discharge rate helps stabilize the cells. The unit sports a 2-line LCD screen that shows real time voltage levels, while on top is a fan cooled platform for placing your batteries during discharge. A sensor in the unit can also detect whether the cells are getting abnormally hot and if so will stop the discharge.

Following on from his success at the recent Japanese Nationals, Team Checkpoint racer Marc Rheinard along with Steve O’Donnell have announced the upcoming release of his new Special Edition motor. Besides all the standard Checkpoint features, this special edition motor features a 1.4mm thick can with eight vent slots and a grey oxide finish. The motor will be available for the next out-door season.

Novak have released this 1/8th-scale Conversion Kit to allow nitro enthusiasts sample the brushless revolution by converting their 1/8th scale nitro buggy to electric powered. Kits are available for various models of Kyosho, Mugen and Ofna vehicles, and include all of the necessary components to convert it to brushless power. Intellect will soon release the follow up to the explosive power of their IB4200 cells with the introduction of the all new IB4600VR-1. These new batteries not only provide longer run time than their predecessor but they will have been tested to ensure that they are stable and safe, and upon passing, the VR-1 cells will go on sale. Trinity has made available the same Li-Pro battery pack that powers its new NOW brushless truggy available for use in other electric vehicles like the Associated RC-18T. The Lithium Polymer technology of the Li-Pro battery pack makes for a longer running battery at a lighter weight than possible with Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries. The Li-Pro battery pack comes with a Tamiya style power connector and a separate charging plug for use with balance chargers.

K-Factory have announced the relase of this TC Motor Cooling Head which has been designed to fit the Team Magic E4 perfectly, as well as any other electric car with a transverse mounted motor. Machined from aluminium, and anodized black, it cools the motor effectively due to the fins being turned 90 degrees that enables a constant flow of aire through the heat sink.
