Maxima have released a teaser for their forthcoming Mx B4 nitro off-road engine. The newly designed power house will offer improved performance and it sports a new cooling head with special Las Vegas graphics to celebrate this year’s IFMAR Gas Buggy World Championship that will be held in “Sin City” early October. We bring you more information on the engine as soon as they surface.

Flash Point R/C Products have announced their new 25 percent Off-Road blend of fuel for the up and coming IFMAR 1/8th Off-Road World Championship. The 25 percent nitro fuel is available now and also trackside during the 1/8th IFMAR World Championship. The new mixture was developed by Adam Drake and the team at Flash Point to provide great power, longer runtime, and consistent tuning for long main events.

Coming from Max Power is the XP3.9 World Edition .12 nitro on-road engine. Built to the same specifications as used by the Max Power factory team at the recent IFMAR World Championships in Gubbio, the engine features a new crankcase with under head cut-outs to keeping compression more consistent, it comes with a new 3-port liner and CNC-machined piston for improved top speed and it utilises a dual tungsten-balanced and silicone-filled 11.9mm crankshaft. The specifications are rounded out by a US-made ceramic main bearing and a new 6-ribs silver-anodised cooling head.
Italian engine makers Reds Racing have introduced the new Reds Race Ready by Elliott Boots engines. These engines are the first of their kind and they allow racers to be able to utilise engines that have been broken in and race ready tuned by 2-times European Champion Elliott Boots. The break-in and final tuning will be made directly on the car using the best quality fuel to ensure performance and reliability with the engines being delivered ready for clutch and exhaust assembly and installation in the car. The break-in process allows to use the engine under race conditions from the get go with no additional run-in procedure necessary. The service is available on the Reds Racing R5T Team Edition and R7 Evoke engines and buyers can also choose to combine the engines in a combo kit with their own exhaust and/or Quattro clutch system that will be broken in as well.

Coming from RC Concept is a Losi-style air filter set for a range of 1/8th off-road vehicles. With the double elbowed design being a popular choice in today’s nitro buggy racing, the air filter makes for improved engine performance while the special high-quality air filter foams offer perfect airflow without sacrificing dust protection. The air filter is available separately or including two non-oiled foams with the foams also being available in convenient 6-piece packages.
French company RC Concept have introduced their all-new MC3R nitro off-road engine. Building on the MC5R the MC3R offers a smoother powerband and better fuel consumption, making it an ideal all-round engine. The hand-assembled power plant comes with a new carburettor for improved runtime and more mid-range power, it features a matching sleeve and piston, a silicone-filled and balanced crankshaft, rear ceramic bearing and it comes including a new 8mm as well as a 7mm venturi insert. Included with the engine, that sports a new silver-colour cooling head with for improved temperature management, also comes a #5 RC Concept glowplug.

O.S. Engines have introduced their limited edition 24K Gold-plated #80 glow plug. The release goes along with the the recently announced O.S. Speed Spec II Gold Edition and B2101 Las Vegas Edition engines with the #80 glow plug being a renamed #8 covered in a luxurious gold-plating in honour of O.S.’s 80th anniversary. The plug is usable just like a standard #8 and available for a limited time only.

Italian company Capricorn have introduced their latest Tesla engine, the .12 WC. The 2.11cc 1/10th engine features a new crankcase, a differently timed and 2-stage balanced crankshaft as well as new carburettor needles. Also part of the package are a redesigned combustion camber insert and a new lightweight conrod, both leading to higher peak RPM. The longstroke engine, that was made with the coming IFMAR 200mm World Championships in mind, is rounded out by a rear 9-ball ceramic bearing and a new black anodised cooling head.
