MIP AE & TLR .250 bore machined T-nut

MIP .250 bore machined T-nut

Made for 5th and 4th generation Team Associated 1/10th vehicles as well as AE and TLR MIP ball differentials is a machined T-nut from MIP. The 7075-T6 machined aluminium T-nut is completely rebuildable by simply replacing the small nylon inserts. These high quality nylon inserts increase the screws break away force by 20 percent, meaning that the diff screw will stay in its desired position much longer and increase the consistency of the differential over time. The aluminium design also increases sheer strength of the “T” by 40 percent. Included in the set are the aluminium T-nut and two nylon inserts.

Reds Racing TX120 1/10th brushless speed controller

During this week’s EFRA 1/8th Gas Offroad European Championship Italian company Reds Racing have their forthcoming TX120 1/10th scale brushless speed controller on show. Known for their successful range of nitro engines Reds Racing recently also stepped into electric propulsion with the release of their 1/8th and 1/10th scale brushless motors. As for the speed controller, the TX120 was developed with a focus especially on 13.5T stock racing and a good brake feel, but the speedo will also work with modified motors down to 3.0T. Measuring 31.38x19mm and weighing in at 45g the 2S LiPo-compatible and 120A-rated ESC offers 6V/3A BEC output and it sports all-black wires for a pro-level look. Also available will be a dedicated programming box that allows to adjust the software parameters that, from what is understood, will include class-standard items such as timing and turbo functions beside others. More detailed information about both products will become available in time for the release.

Teamsaxo Pro5 carbon fibre main chassis & upper deck

Coming from Teamsaxo and made for the HB Pro5 touring car is a new carbon fibre main chassis and top deck. The 85mm wide chassis is cut from 2.2mm material and it features a symmetrical design with the milled motor pocket also being present on the battery side for a more equal left-to-right flex. The design makes the chassis especially helpful in low-grip conditions with the 2.0mm top plate being usable in combination with the optional or standard chassis in order to provide different flex characteristics when needed.

Mon-Tech X1 SSS floating servo & steering system

Mon-Tech X1 SSS floating servo & steering system

Italian company Mon-Tech have introduced a special servo and steering mount for the Xray X1. The option part, called SSS which is for “servo, steering, suspension” is meant to allow better steering response, faster cornering and improved bump handling. Made from aluminium the brace takes both the steering servo and the steering bellcrank to connect them with the front part of the chassis using the upper camber and castor plate rather then attaching them to the main chassis plate, to create a “floating” design. The anodised aluminium brace comes including three alloy posts and the assembly is a direct fit on the X1.
