MCD have introduced the Micro Stud V2 tyre for large scale off-road buggies. Following an extensive optimisation process the tyres are now even lighter, weighing in at only 150g, saving around 25 percent of weight per tyre and thus scrubbing a total of 200g per set without sacrificing handling and durability. The 180mm tyres are available in a soft and medium rubber compound.

Coming from Avid and made for the Team Associated TC6.2 is an optional aluminium main chassis plate. Machined from 2mm 7075-T6 aluminium the chassis offers higher rigidity than the stock carbon fibre chassis, making it especially useful on high to medium-bite surfaces while allowing the suspension brackets to be mounted lower at the same time. Avid signature “herringbone” cut-outs lower the overall weight and give the chassis a unique look while the narrow 84mm width allows for more ground clearance in corners. The chassis comes black anodised, with machined silver edges and laser-etched Avid logos for easy identification.

Coming from Arrowmax and made for their recently introduced setup system is a universal carrying bag. The design allows the convenient storage and transportation of most 1/10th and 1/8th on-road set-up systems available on the market, with a multitude of different pockets and elastic straps to store the parts in. Teamsaxo have introduced their all-new GT-300W 1/12th scale competition pan car kit. The car is based on a high-quality carbon fibre chassis and features an industry-standard link-type rear suspension, it offers a transversal battery placement and a single bellcrank steering assembly with a longitudinally mounted steering servo. Dual roll dampers and a large volume centre shock absorber ensure a smooth ride as does the high-torque yet sensitive ball differential. The kit is rounded out by several blue anodised aluminium parts such as the front suspension arm mounts, the steering bellcrank, servo mounts, centre shock mount and the rear motor pod parts.

Tekno RC have new optional shock towers for the EB48SL and the SCT410.3 as well as a 17mm wheel wrench and shock cap tool available. Starting with the shock towers, coming for the front and rear of the company’s 1/10th short course truck and 1/8th super light buggy, the towers are are made from super tough 5mm carbon material and they are 6mm lower than the stock parts for a lower centre of gravity and thus improved handling. Scrubbing 6 grams of weight per tower they also make for a lower overall weight and they should only be used with the TKR5516 front suspension arms and TKR5515 rear suspension arms.

New from X Factory comes the Infinity T5M carbon fibre chassis kit for the Team Associated T5M stadium truck. Being a direct replacement for the somewhat heavy standard aluminium chassis the chassis kit saves about 75g of weight while adding flex for improved cornering, jumping and performance in bumpy section. The chassis has several advantages over the standard aluminium part in addition to super-light weight. It won’t tweak and the flex is controllable with the side rails and waterfall; depending on which screws are installed and how tight they are, the driver controls how much flex there is and where it occurs. This allows to quickly and easily adjust the truck for many surface conditions, from the highest traction to a blown-out eighth-scale track, from high grip to no grip. The kit includes a the main chassis plate, side rails and small parts for the conversion.

Xray have introduced two new graphite chassis brace sets for the XB4 off-road buggy. Available for shorty and saddle pack battery configurations the sets allow to run the buggy without the upper deck for a wider range of chassis flex settings. The graphite parts are designed to attach to the lower composite chassis braces and by using more or less mounting screws the flex characteristics can be further fine-tuned. Both the shorty and saddle pack configuration sets are available separately and they include all needed mounting hardware.

Reflex Racing now have the RR10 World GT 1/10th pan car kit available. Designed from scratch and with customer feedback Reflex Racing tried to make a World GT that has more steering and less traction roll while maintaining the versatile nature of the RSD line of cars. The car is based on a narrow chassis with a 1.5mm pocket for the battery pack, making for a super low centre of gravity while the floating servo mount does away with tweak issues associated with the off-set servo position found in pan cars. The kit is also fitted with a lot of go fast, premium goodies such as the Xenon front end, IRS diff, Team Prime shocks and an array of RSD springs and shims are included in the kit to fine-tune your car out of the box.
