VP Pro USA is bringing back the original 1/8th buggy Turbo Trax tyre. Originally released by VP-Pro Racing in 2009 the small pin, super low profile tyre works best on hard packed blue groove tracks with or without dust. The tyre will now come with a new orange closed cell insert for added tyre support and fits all standard 1/8th wheels.

Team Muso introduce the LM-P Type 1 bodyshell for 200mm World GT cars. Designed to resemble modern LMP cars the body is tuneable with additional parts in the form of a nose section and rear shark fin to create a total of four body configurations that not only look different but change the overall driving characteristic. Team C TM4 1/10th 4WD buggy

Team C Racing’s TM4 4WD buggy kit is known for some time now and while the first factory drivers got their hands on pre-production kits the actual production kits should hit the stores very soon. As reported before the buggy builds on a newly developed 7075-T& aluminium chassis with plastic side rails and it features a special layout designed around the use of 2S LiPo shorty packs. Having virtually nothing in common with the previous T4 platform the kit includes new gearboxes with updated anti-roll bar mounts, a new motor mount, updated big bore shock absorbers with upper composite caps, a newly designed slipper clutch with octagonal slipper pads, new A-arms with droop screws and updated steering parts for added agility. The kit is rounded out by 14mm aluminium wheel hex adapters and a cab forward body shell.

Hobbywing Xerun 120A WP V3.1 ESC

German Hobbywing distributor Hype announce the soon release of the Xerun 120A WP V3.1 speed controller. Building on the already known V3.1 the WP version is highly water protected making it ideal for on-road and off-road applications alike. The controller is made for 2S to 3S use, sports a 120A rating and it the ESC’s firmware is upgradable using the optional programming box. The other features such as the high airflow cooling head, all-aluminium case and build-in switch remain unchanged from the non-WP model.

Serpent SL8 light 2-speed shaft

Serpent introduce this lightweight SL8 2-speed layshaft for the Viper 977 car. The hollow axle is made from hardened, balanced and ground spring steel for a maximum in precision and durability. Two flat spots ensure a secure fit of the pulley adaptor grub screws. Being around 30 percent lighter than the stock part using the shaft makes for a lighter and more agile behaving drivetrain.

Hype X-200 Touch DC charger

Hype introduce the X-200 Touch 200W DC multi-chemistry charger. The main feature of the device is the large 96x54mm touch sensitive colour display to control and monitor all relevant charging and discharging parameters. Offering a multi-language menu the charger is designed for the use with up to 6 cell LiXX and up to 16 cell NiXX packs as well as Lead-Acid batteries. A maximum charge current of 10A makes for low charging times while the X-200 also offers a 3A discharge function. An integrated LiPo balancer and special modes for all battery types round out the package.
