Kyosho Comic Racer BCS Subaru Impreza

Kyosho Germany introduce a new line of Mini-Z vehicles in the form of the Comic Racer BCS with Subaru Impreza body shell. Based on the MB-011 4WD shaft-driven chassis the 204mm long vehicle offers a fully ball-raced drivetrain, slipper clutch, long stroke suspension components with fluid-filled shock absorbers, and high-grip off-road tyres. Included with the factory-assembled fun racer comes a digital steering servo and a 2.4GHz ESC/receiver unit. The chassis is topped-off by a pre-designed comic-style Subaru Impreza body shell and is available including a KT-18 radio system or as car only.

Exotek F104 side spring mounts & front spacer plate

Exotek Racing have new option parts for the Tamiya F104 chassis available in the form of alloy side spring mounts and a fibre glass front spacer plate. Starting with the spring mounts, they are machined from high-quality aluminium and designed to fit the F104v2, F1R and many other link-type pan cars that accept Associated or Tamiya-sized side springs. The parts sport white adjustment markings and are available in blue or black colour. Also made for the F014 is the 1mm front spacer plate that lowers the front ride height by 1mm without lowering the wing to retain plenty of clearance for bumpy tracks. The plate is machined from black G10 fibre glass and is placed under the front lower arm set.

Bittydesign D812 Force body shell

Bittydesign introduce the Force design body shell for Hot Bodies’ D812 buggy. The Italian company tried to create a body shell that attracts a wider range of people with the kit body shell being a love it or hate it affair. Sporting an updated cab design that received a distinctive shark fin, the main work was done in the engine head area in order to allow more cooling air to reach the engine. Two reversed scoops create better airflow that also generates additional downforce for improved balance. The body is a direct replacement for the stock part, comes made from 1.0mm polycarbonate and included protective film, window masks and a decal sheet. In addition suitable dirt shields for the rear lower A-arms are available to protect the arms, driveshafts, and tie rods from becoming excessively dirty when running the car in damp, wet or muddy conditions.

New from Arrowmax comes this body reamer for polycarbonate shells. Sporting the company’s signature honeycomb design the tool is made from high-quality aluminium and it comes gun metal anodised while the tool tip is machined from high-quality steel and hardcoated for a long life and a precision cut. Size markings up to 18mm help to make body fitting perfect.

X Factory X-6 Cubed available soon

Announced some time ago and finally shipping next week is X Factory’s latest evolution step of the X-6 buggy, the X-6 Cubed. The buggy that broke the mould for modern day mid-motor vehicles received a huge make over and is now based on a slim carbon fibre and aluminium double deck chassis for optimised weight distribution, better cornering and improved jumping characteristics. The chassis is designed for the use with saddle or shorty LiPo battery packs, it features a new tower forward design to bring the rear shock tower forward for an improved shock position and to relocate the rear wing and the kit makes use of X Factory’s known 4-gear transmission. The Cubed will become available as conversion kit for existing Team Associated B4, B4.1 and B4.2 buggies as well as an upgrade kit for X-6 Squared vehicles. Included in both packages is a redesigned body shell and new medium downforce rear wing.

JConcepts 1/8th Bullet buggy wheel

JConcepts introduce their new 83mm Bullet wheels for 1/8th off-road buggies. With a higher focus on stability and extremely grippy track surfaces, the larger overall diameter stretches the tyre sidewall, slightly flattening the tyre profile giving more forward traction and tightens up the reaction felt by the driver. The wheel features durable yet flexible inner ribbing and lightened features which reduce rotating weight. The outer face highlights a slightly concave shape and outer lightening bullet holes around the axle area. The wheels incorporate an outer glue catch that resists excess glue from running down the wheel face during the gluing process and they are available in packs of for in yellow or white colour.

Much More announce more Fleta ZX variants

Coming soon from Much More Racing are additional variants of the Fleta ZX electric brushless motor. Beside the already existing range the company will release 6.0T, 7.0T, 8.0T and 9.5T modified as well as several 13.5T to 21.5T stock racing versions. All come in a black anodised aluminium vented can with aluminium/plastic timing endbell and heavy duty solder tabs.

RB Yuichi Kanai Limited Edition engine

After returning to engine supplier RB, Japanese 1/8th buggy ace Yuichi Kanai now receives his own YuuiKanai branded engine. Developed in cooperation with the iconic Japanese driver and made in Europe the signature engine features a long stoke design and comes with a 14.5mm crankshaft, competition conrod, high speed main and front ball bearings, 3-port liner and piston with Multi Exhaust System technology and a turbo combustion camber insert. Build around RB’s crankcase the engine is equipped with a special 9mm buggy carburettor with 6.5mm and 7.5mm venturi inserts and a low centre of gravity cooling head of green colour and with exclusive Kanai engravings. The engine is limited to 300 pieces worldwide and comes including an EFRA2097 exhaust system.
