Team Losi Racing have introduced the 8ight 3.0, a buggy which has been honed and tuned to provide new found levels of drivability, consistency and performance with only one thing in mind- to make you faster as a driver. The Team Losi Racing team of engineers, designers and racers have looked critically at the 2.0 platform and tuned it in areas to make it more forgiving to drive, more consistent through the bumps, more tractable on acceleration and overall more stable without having to sacrifice any of the legendary reliability, robustness or that all important factor, Speed.
For the T4 from Xray comes this graphite adjustable battery holder that allows for adjustment to eliminate battery play on the chassis. The battery position can be moved forward, rearward, inboard or outboard depending on the battery size used, allowing the battery to be positioned ideally for chassis balance and tuning needs. If heavy electronics are used, the battery can be positioned more outboard to achieve proper balance (or inboard for lighter electronics). The battery can be moved forward for increased stability or to the rear for additional steering.

Reds Racing introduce the M7 WorldCup .21 engine for 1/8th on-road racing. The new engine offers the most advanced technologies to ensure the best performance and reliability and features a new extra long stroke engine geometry, a back-plate with low friction coating, hybrid ceramic rear ball bearing, balanced crankshaft, all new timing and special tuning by Mario Rossi. The result is an engine with more low and mid range power and high fuel economy.

Team Xtreme introduce the Vega rear camber link mount for the Team Durango DEX210 buggy. The plate machined from aerospace-quality 6085-T6 aluminium allows for vertical ball stud adjustment and offers three inner ball stud positions. It comes clear anodised and with two M3x12 screws.

Serpent have released first renderings of their upcoming Spyder SRX-2 2WD electric off-road buggy. Detailed information on the buggy are not available at the moment but looking at the drawings several class typical elements such as big bore shock absorbers, angled front wishbones and a cab forward design body shell are visible. Along with the SRX-2 Serpent will introduce more 1/10th off-road vehicles such as a 4WD buggy, 2WD short course and stadium truck as well as a 4WD SC truck. Further details will be available when the car is revealed during next week’s Nuremberg Toy Fair.

New from Serpent come CNC-machined aluminium castor blocks for the Cobra line of buggies, trucks and GT vehicles. The parts come in sets of left and right C-hubs including matching hardware and are black anodized and laser engraved. Generally more caster give less steering into a corner but more coming out of a turn. The new parts help to find the best setup for your given track condition or driving style.

The Silver Dollar Raceway is one of the most anticipated VRC track releases to date. The virtual copy of the US-based track was created in close collaboration with A Main Hobbies from Chico, California. The 315m long off-road track with its 2012 lay-out is used for both short course and nitro buggy racing, and will be hosting, with a different layout, the 2013 IFMAR Worlds for 1:10 2WD and 4WD electric buggies. The 2013 Worlds layout will be made available later this year when the track will be re-modeled for the IFMAR Worlds.
