For 2012 Vampire Racing took another step forward and introduced two new stick pack LiPo batteries. The first one, specifically designed for touring cars, is a 6800mAh 70C pack and will pump out massive power. The second battery is a 4400mAh 50C short stick pack. The slightly lower C rating and the shorter hard case is the ultimate combination for your 2wd car allowing you achieve the ultimate setup balance with the variability of the shorter case.
The Advantage Touch charger is a new generation of high tech charger from Team Orion. Equipped with a touch sensitive color LCD screen and specialized touch software, it’s a brand new experience in the field of battery charging. The centre piece of this new charger is the Spectra TFT color touch screen which allows you to reach all the different features of the system with ease. The charger itself is an AC/DC unit with 0.1 to 5A output current and 0.1 to 1.0A discharge current and it can handle all the modern lithium based battery types up to 6 cells. Jammin has released two new tool sets, a hex wrench set and a screw driver set. Both sets come supplied in a handy plastic container and each of the tools features a handle made out of anodized aluminium for maximum durability with a comfortable feel allowing for maximum grip. The tips are replaceable and made out of a very durable steel alloy making them almost impossible to strip. Each wrench has a laser etched wrench size on the handle and a different color end cap making it easier to locate the wrench size quickly. The hex wrench set includes a 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm & 3.0mm while the screw driver set comes with a Philips 3mm, Philips 5mm, flat 3mm & flat 5mm.

New from Axial Racing to set your Wraith up for high speed rock racing, or Recon G6 Challenge style events is this front and rear sway bar kit. Designed for high speed this system will let you soften up your suspension for jumps, while keeping torque twist and body lean to a minimum during acceleration. A sway bar’s main function is to control body roll, yet still allow your shocks to move vertically with the changing terrain giving you more stability at high speed. Each sway bar lever is made from CNC machined black anodized aluminium and each kit includes three different steel sway bars (soft, medium and firm) for fine tuning body roll and suspension articulation. Tresrey have released new hop-up parts for the Team Durango DEX210/410 expected to be released in early February. First up is the aluminium RF suspension hanger for more stiffness and durability. Changing “kick-up” angle to 3deg from 2deg which is kit standard makes the rear of the car more stable and gives you more room to set-up.
KO Propo have released a number of new items starting with this BSx Standard servo. Based on the successful high-quality RSx series materials is this high end brushless steering servo. Featuring full aluminium gears made from a special Japanese aluminium, double ball bearings and an aluminium middle case machined from one piece of aluminium that incorporates the gear pins and motor being held properly in place. Suitable for all 1/8th and 1/10th scale vehicles it has a speed of 0.06s@60°(7.4V)/0.07s@60°(6.0V) and a torque of 20.0kg-cm(7.4V)/15.0kg-cm(6.0V). Also new is a 7.4V adjuster connector for allowing RSx series, BSx series servos or any high voltage servo to operate at high voltage in an electric vehicle. Finally their is a Servo lead extension wire with an increase to 50 cable core copper wire that allows for more current to be carried through a servo or a receiver battery pack.
