JConcepts popular Bar Code SC tires are now also available in blue “soft” compound. The tire is designed to excel both in new and used condition on hard surfaces that have taken rubber with either dry or wet grooved conditions. Worn Bar Codes excel on indoor or outdoor clay tracks where a minimal dust groove has formed. Included with the tires are light-weight and durable Closed Cell profiled inserts.

Arrowmax have released a new range of belt pulley for the Xray RX8 1/8 scale on-road chassis. CNC-machined from high-quality 7075 T6 aluminium, the pulleys are hard coated, light weight, and very durable.

Serpent have released a line of PTFE coated pivot balls. Made from aerospace super light aluminium they are very smooth and the range of types allows you to replace the steel versions that come as standard on the S120, S100, 733, 966 and others. The different versions include 5.8mm double straight, 5.8mm, 5.8mm long, anti-roll bar ball 3.0mm and uni 4.5mm.

Pro-Line have announced that their Hole Shot 2.0 SC and Blockade SC are now available pre mounted on Renegade Black wheels. The Pro-Line Renegade wheel for SC trucks features a tough 10 spoke design replicating the latest in high performance full size forged racing wheels used by the pros. Pro-Line have released a number of new additions to their tire range starting with the 1/8th buggy Hole Shot 2.0. The Hole Shot 2.0 provides more forward traction, increased steering response and is less edgy in the ruts making you faster than ever before. Their mini-pin and square lug technology combine to give your Buggy TQ pace and last through long mains. Also for 1/8th buggy is the Tazer and Blockade are now available pre mounted on V2 white wheels with the Tazer available in M3 and M4, while the Blockade only comes in M4. For 1/10th scale buggy there is the return of the Square Fuzzie. The new Square Fuzzie features countless square micro-pins laid out in a traction inducing grid pattern that will stick to the track like Velcro while the long center bars provide tons of forward bite and improved wear over the Original. New from Pro-Line for the Associated RC8.2 is the 2012 Bulldog. Ryan Cavalieri is preparing for the IFMAR World Championships in 2012 and has developed the most advanced body yet. He took great care in refining the design for 2012 to create even more stability with enhanced steering to gain an advantage on the track. The windshield is steeper to create more down force over the front wheels and the roof ridges have been raised to channel the air flow over the middle of the body for increased high-speed stability. The rear of the roof has been lowered and fins have been added to achieve maximum engine head cooling and stable air flow over the body. The fins also add rigidity to the body to increase aerodynamic efficiency.

JConcepts have announced that their Finnisher body shell is now available for the Kyosho RB-5 WC. Increased windshield angle provides a steady force upfront during mid-flight wind gusts on large jumps. Forward cab placement changes performance / visible bias which helps steering rotation in low traction corners. The side-pods have been simplified and JC chamfered to remove unwanted changes in height to neutralize the at-speed handling. The chassis to body fit has been tightened up where applicable, which helps eliminates large empty voids that contribute to mid-flight directional changes. The rear of the cab has a new step feature and a louver which can be trimmed to allow air to escape at the top of the body through its V-shaped design. In addition to the newly designed body, JConcepts has included 2 of the latest 6.5″ wide Hi-Clearance rear wings which have been specifically designed to fit on the RB-5 buggy.

CRC have sent us this sneak peek at the company’s new 64 pitch pinions. Available in 20 – 70 tooth and made from hard anodised 7075 aluminium making them super light and durable. Featuring an American 5-40 set screw (1/16th inch allen), they go on sale this week and will be shipping from next Monday.
