New from KM Racing is this engine bearing tool kit that allows the easy installation and removal of bearings. Made from high quality steel it is easy to use and suitable for all .12 and .21 size engines using the company’s different range of adapters and collets. The adapter and collet sets is sold separately and comes in 11.5mm and 11.9 – 12mm versions for .12 engines and in 14mm and 14.4mm versions for .21 engines.

Following the Hi-Flow Short Course body shell, JConcepts introduce another new product during this week’s 2011 ROAR Electric Off-Road Nationals. The Hazard 12mm hex wheel for Associated SC10 and SC10 4×4 kits features a 10 spoke design, bead-lock appearance and centre lug nut detail. The Hazard will make an immediate impact on the performance of the SC10 trucks by widening the stance of the truck by 6mm in overall width. The increased width will maximise the SC10 and bring it up to the ROAR maximum legal limits in dimensional width. The wheels should be available soon.

With World Champion on road racer Robert Pietsch visiting the offroad Euros last week in Germany, he brought along with him the all new MTX-5 1/10th 200mm chassis for us to take a look at. Having written about the car previously there is no need to go into details about its unique features other than to say that the whole package looks pretty good in the flesh. We are told that the car is close to hitting the shops and for next week’s European Championships in Ettlingen, Germany the car will make its international race debut in the hands of Pietsch, the car in the photos is his race car, Rick V and Francesco Tironi. Speedtech RC from Germany now have an extended line of MobGum tyres for 1/12 scale on-road cars available. Additionally to the existing line of tyres the company now offers Jaco Magenta and Double-Pink front as well as Pink and Magenta rear foam on Yokomo R12 wheels. Also, MobGums tyres on grey Prism wheels will be shipped in a race ready size now. The rears feature 45 mm diameter with the front tyres being 43 mm in size. This does away with the often unwanted need to trim and true the tyres before use.

Tekin introduce the new Pro4 electric brushless motor for 4WD 1/10 scale Short Course trucks. Utilising the design of the T8 1/8th scale motor, the Pro4 produces high torque and smooth power with especially chosen KV ranges to complement 2S and 3S LiPo batteries. The motors feature a 4 pole 12 slot hi-torque design, neodymium sintered magnets, high purity copper windings, CNC-machined 6061 T6 Billet aluminium heatsink can, front 5x13x4mm and rear 5x10x5mm ABEC5 bearings and dual-plug sensor wire harness for use with all sensored and sensorless controllers. The Pro4 with a diameter of 35.8mm and a length of 52.9mm are available with 3300kv, 4000kv and 4600kv ratings.

JConcepts introduce the new Hi-Flow Short Course body shell for most of today’s 1/10 scale SC trucks. The design goal of the body, that is introduced in time for this week’s 2011 ROAR electric off-road nationals, was to eliminate the so called parachute effect often associated with SC trucks. With big air escape areas that are easily cut out using an x-acto knife and newly designed number and name panel on the sides the body provides the best possible jumping characteristics and straight-line ability.

The lightweight flywheel & locknut wrench from Yeah Racing is made from tough plastic material and ideal to securely hold 2-shoe or 3-shoe flywheels during clutch assembly. The tool also incorporates a 17mm hex wrench for standard 1/8 scale wheel nuts.

KM Racing release an updated version of their carbon belt tensioner mount for the H-K1 1/10 scale 200mm on-road chassis. The new design provides a more precise belt tensioning and increased tightening range on the short chassis version with the 384mm belt. The mount is cut from high-quality carbon and available now.
