Officially licensed and Ready-To-Race, the winning number 18 Toyota Tundra of Kyle Busch is now available in 1/16 scale exclusively from Traxxas. During the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Kyle raced Chicagoland, Talladega and Homestead with Traxxas sponsorship and took the checkered flag every time he flew Traxxas colors. At season’s end, Kyle Busch Motorsports won the Owners’ Championship. To commemorate the exciting 2010 season and a new run at the Championship with Traxxas in 2011, Traxxas is proud to offer the new 1/16 Kyle Busch Camping World Race Replica truck. This high-performance model features the Velineon Brushless Power System for class-leading speed, coupled with full-time 4WD that makes it easy to drive like a pro. The drivetrain rides on full ball-bearings and delivers smooth, efficient power through Traxxas’ Torque-Control slipper clutch and proven telescoping u-joint drive shafts. FTW Night Fox XL body shell

FTW Racing Components have introduced the Night Fox XL body shell, an extended version of its revolutionary Night Fox body shell designed to fit the Team Associated B4.1 when equipped with the longer T4.1 chassis. The Night Fox XL is the first production body shell designed to fit this chassis configuration. Night Fox XL is packaged with two wings, window masks, and a decal sheet.

Pirani RC 1/8th clutch spring

Pirani RC have released this new clutch spring for on road 1/8 scale cars. This new generation of springs is made with a special steel that does not lose tension even after long use, helping to keep the clutch consistent for the length of a race, avoiding any loss of torque. Easy to regulate and high performance in high traction track conditions.

Xray RX8 brass chassis balancing weights

More precision-machined brass chassis balancing weights from Xray, this time designed for their RX8 chassis. Mounted in the front and rear weight integration holes, they come marked with the weight value for easy identification. The front 60g weight can be mounted either fixed or flexible to avoid undesired stiffening effect and you can also add an additional 20g to top of this weight or the other graphite insert. At the rear there is a 20g and 40g weight, only one of which can be mounted at a time.

Pro-Line Revolver 2.0 pre mounts & M4 compound update

Pro-Line have introduced lots of new tire updates across the different classes. First up is the Revolver 2.0 M3 off road buggy tire which will now be available pre mounted on V2 white wheels. For the truggy class, the Caliber VTR 4.0″ and Hole Shot VTR 4.0″ 1/8th truck tires will be made available in their new M4 super soft compound. The 1/10th truck class 2.2″ rear tires will also get the same treatment, with the Hole Shot T, Caliber and Suburbs T also now being made available in the M4 compound.

Pro-Line Hole Shot SC 2.0 & pre mount updates

Lots of new SC tire combos from Pro-Line, starting with the release of their new Hole Shot SC 2.0 tire. It features more pins and a wider contact patch for insane amounts of traction and the unique mini-pin design gives the optimum level of traction in dusty, hard-packed and grooved conditions. Available in soft and super soft compounds. Pro-Line have also announced that their Caliber SC 2.0 tires will be available pre mounted on ProTrac Renegade black wheels as well as standard Renegade black wheels. The Trencher and Gladiator SC tires will also now be available pre mounted on Renegade black wheels.

ROAR suspends ORCA ESCs for six months

As a result of actions that were in direct violation of instructions from a ROAR Executive Committee member, ORCA brand speed controls are not permitted in ROAR sanctioned competition for the next six months. The violation stems from a discussion about the true amount of timing in the second generation of ESC from the brand, in which it was not in compliance with the zero timing specification as indicated in the rules. Given that it was only days before the event, it was instructed that the new ESC and the software could not be used. Upon further inspection, it was determined that the new software was loaded on to the previous generation ESC, in direct violation of the timing rule itself, and the instructions of the Technical Director. The six month suspension will take effect 5/1/11, and assuming a satisfactory agreement can be made before the 11/1/11 expiration, the ORCA ESCs can be considered for use in ROAR competition again.
