Xray have released a set of hard suspension parts for their XII and X10 cars. The new parts which include the front upper suspension arm and both the left and rear steering blocks are now also available in the new harder material which is stiffer and stronger.

STRC have released images of their upcoming Slash 4×4 GT-8/Rally Cross Conversion kit. Some Slash 4×4 owners might be bored with bashing around or racing their Slash, and with this conversion kit, Slash 4×4 owners have a whole new dimension to enjoy their Slash. Viper VST XL 550 motor

Viper R/C have entered the 550 motor game with the all new VST 4.5XL and 5.5XL 550 class motors. The VST-XL series coupled with the powerful VTX10R ESC makes an optimum setup for your 4×4 short course. They have been in the testing and development stages for many months with top level drivers such as Billy Fischer. Billy’s power systems have been both extremely powerful and reliable even under the toughest racing conditions at the Silverstate and Cactus Classic. The motors are expect to arrive in mid June.

Xray have produced these CNC-machined rear CVD drive shafts for their RX8 1/8th scale chassis. Made from Hudy spring steel, they have been hand ground for maximum precision, then individually measured and inspected.

CSO Products have released some new parts for different cars in the Xray range as well as the Tamiya touring chassis. Firstly for the Xray T3 & T2, there is a pair of hard coated steel 52mm swing shafts. These are also available for the Tamiya TRF417 & 416 in 44mm versions. For the RX8 there is a pair of hard coated steel rear wheel axles, which have been lightened and come with wheel nuts for a secure and more true wheel mounting, but can also be used with the standard quick release levers. Finally for the RX8 are some lightened 6mm and 8mm aluminium collars for the middle and gearbox shafts.

Exotek Racing have released 2 new unrelated items, HB TCX QC shock posts and TLR22 front locking wheel bolts. The shock posts precision machined from titanium with a 2mm hex and come with alloy stand offs for reduced flex at the shock towers. The quick change design that is lighter than the stock parts it replaces and a shortened barrel for reduced shock slop allows free movement for proper shock function. Sold in a set of 4. The TLR 22 front locking wheel bolts are again made from machined titanium and feature angled wheel locking serrations to securely tighten down your buggies front wheels. They use a 2mm hex wrench and are sold in pair.

Novarossi 35 Plus & SYDWC motors get updated

Starting from this week, Novarossi’s 35 Plus 21 and the Kangaroo .21 SYDWC engine will come with an upgraded cooling head. The upgraded heads are the same that are used on the previous .21 Flash engines, featuring drilled holes and 6 cuts to reduce the overall weight. Because the cooling head is mounted relatively hight, any reduction in weight for this part significantly helps lower the CofG.

GH Racing hex & turnbuckle wrenches

GH Racing have introduced a number of new tools beginning with their aluminium hex wrench III. Made from 6061 billet aluminium, it uses a one way bearing that grips the supplied 17mm and 23mm steel hex sockets and depending on the side used, will tighten or loosen the nut. The other end of the flywheel can also be used to firmly grab a flywheel. GH also have an additional 24mm hex socket for this wrench which works with the HPI Baja buggy. Other new tools include a set of 3 mini turnbuckle wrenches that have been made from aluminium and come supplied in 3/16, 1/4 & 11/32 sizes. A similar set, which includes 4 pieces, comes with a 4.5mm, 5.0mm, 5.5mm & 7.0mm wrench.
