Thunder Power RC Z3R-S brushless motors

Thunder Power RC have introduced their all-new Z3R-S Stock Spec and Z3R-M Modified 540-Class sensored brushless motors for cars, trucks, buggies and more. The Z3R-S Stock Spec motors are available in 10.5T, 13.5T, 17.5T and 21.5T winds, while the Z3R-M Modified motors are available in 3.0T, 3.5T, 4.0T, 4.5T, 5.5T, 6.0T, 6.5T, 7.5T, 8.5T and 9.5T winds, all ROAR approved and ready to race at sanctioned events and beyond. Z3R motors are easy to maintain and tune with a fully rebuildable design and are supported by a full line of replacement and option parts, including ROAR approved tuning rotors, that keeps them optimized and on the track. Capricorn LAB-E01 2011 version & KEL850 treated muffler

Capricorn have announced the 2011 version of their .12 touring car engine. The new version comes with a large head and underhead, optional on the WC edition engine, but which has been used by Martin Christensen to take victory at this year’s Euros. The new additions allow for a higher running temperature and the use of a hot glow plug. Capricorn have also released this KEL850 treated Novarossi 2660 Muffler. This new treatment will replace the original hard coated version as it can be used on any kind of aluminium, not only ergal. This new ceramic-titanium treatment gives incredible hardness up to 65 Rockwell and results in higher durability and performance of the muffler as well as optimal resonance. JConcepts Punisher for LRP S8-BXR Evo

JConcepts have released this Punisher body shell for the LRP S8-BXR Evo buggy. The slight cab-forward treatment is amongst the most aggressive in class giving the Punisher top notch performance. Blended wing / body design gives additional down-force to the side-pods and windshield which increases drivability, corner speed and jump control. The rear base of the cab area represents the latest offering for 1/8th buggy racing featuring a super low profile design for increased engine cooling, air flow and escape.

ROAR outlaw ribbed front tires for SC competition

ROAR has amended the tire rules in the Short Course category to specifically exclude the use of ribbed front tires. Use of ribbed front tires is inconsistent with a category that has achieved most of its popularity on the basis of scale appearance. Therefore, ROAR has decided not to allow use of this type of tire on this basis.
