K-Factory 1/8th Clutch bell housing

K-Factory have released a range of hardened steel clutch bells, suitable for buggies, truggies and monster trucks. CNC machined from high grade steel, the super hardened steel construction resists overheating, warping and thermal breakdown and with the use of aluminium clutch shoes these clutch bells claim to last up to 5 times longer than the competition. Etched into every bell is the tooth specification making it easy to select the right clutch bell and they are available in 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 tooth versions.

RB EFRA 3001 Inline tuned pipe

RB Products in France have released the EFRA 3001 pipe, an update of the popular 2045P. This ~~2008 EFRA legal~~ pipe, which complys to EFRA rules, is said to offer the perfect balance between smooth power, low consumption and high RPM and thanks to an updated design and lots of testing since last November 07, the 3001 also claims to be the most advanced 3 chamber off road tuned pipe available. Made using a special technology as well as a thick material, this pipe has been reinforced for longer life and consistent performances.

Serpent S400 CFI Wishbones

Serpent have announced the release of this innovative new product for their S400 190mm touring car. These new wishbones have made using a new process to fuse the plastic with plates of carbon fibre, which not only produces these really cool looking parts but also helps create a stiff and strong wishbone. Another great benefit of the carbon insert is that they are less resistant to softening in really hot conditions, meaning the cars handling remains consistent at all times. The front wishbones have also been shortened which helps improve reaction speeds and initial turn in, perfect for tighter tracks.

Team Trion Long reach end bars

Team Trion have released long reach battery end bars for use with 5 cell pack configurations. Similar to the versions released recently by Much More, these move the point where the wire attaches to the pack out from under the car’s upper deck so it is easier to access. The long bars are sold in a pack of 10 or they can be bought as part of a full set for making a 5 cell pack that includes 4 battery bars also.

XRAY Column – Worlds Preparations

The 17th installment in the Xray column from Xray owner and chief designer Juraj Hudy is now online. In this months column, Juraj talks about the teams trip to this years TITC event.

Arriving a few days earlier before the race gave us a great opportunity to prepare, and having all the other factory teams at the track as well gave us the chance to do some benchmarking. The track was prepared very well, so after charging the first batteries and getting the tires ready, we were ready to race! I was the first one to get track time, and was pleasantly surprised not only with my own driving but especially about the handling of the car. I needed no marshalling at all and the car with basic set-up and new tires was very calm with a lot of steering and traction, but mainly it was super-easy to drive.

Team C Racing Transmitter case

Team C Racing, a Red RC advertiser, have announced the upcoming release of this transmitter case. Made from a red and black padded material, and sporting a handle for easy transport, the case is suitable for all kinds of pistol grip radios and sports the Team C logo printed on the side. Available to buy in late April.

Mugen MTX4-R Spur gears

Mugen have released a number of new spur gears for their 1/10th scale 200mm chassis, the MTX4-R. Made from a more durable composite plastic, these gears offer the cars owner a wider range of options to fine tune their cars gear ratio. The new 1st gears are available in 56T, 58T and 60T, while the 2nd gear spurs come in 52T, 53T and 54T.
