Xray have announced the soon release of their all-new XT4 off-road platform. Expected to be a XB4-based 1/10th 4WD truggy kit, the XT4 will add to the growing class of buggy-based 4WD truck kit and conversions that are becoming increasingly popular especially in the USA. Sanwa have introduced a range of aluminium option parts for their new M17 top-of-the-foodchain radio system. Available now are a steering wheel, the steering base, steering spacer, the small dial as well as the handle. All are made of high-quality alloy material, they come black anodised for wear and looks and all except the steering spacer are machined to reveal silver edge details for looks. Using the easy to install parts adds visual impact and rigidity with the steering spacer part also allowing to access two extra steering wheel positions. All items are available separately or as convenient combo set.
Yeah Racing have introduced new aluminium and brass option parts for the popular Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck. First up is a red coated aluminium diff axle cover that adds stability and a touch of colour. The alloy part is a direct replacement and it comes including mounting hardware.
Exotek have introduced their new J-Zero 190mm USGT touring car body shell. Designed with an aggressive splitter, muscular fenders, low slung hood, downforce inducing side skirts and a sports car cockpit the body makes for the most aggressive aero package with minimal drag. The lid has two trim lines marked on the bottom; one for low profile shock towers and the second mark for extra low body mounting on cars such as the Awesomatix A800. The wing also has two trim lines; a 10mm USGT legal trim line and the second is a 20mm trim line similar to sedan wings for extra downforce. Details such as a large generous proportioned wing provides max downforce while minimising drag. The body was designed with ample tyre clearance in the wheel wells to mount the body low without rubbing the tyres. The specially shaped splitter provides steering while being durable thanks to the modified angles while Raised wing pedestals places the wing higher up into cleaner air. The body is moulded from premium 0.7mm polycarbonate for a low weight and exceptional stability.
RC-Carbonstore have introduced new Rebellion-RC carbon fibre optionals for the Roche F1 Evo formula pan car kit. First up is an updated main chassis plate that offers milled holes for the battery front stop as well as seven pockets for Rebellion-RC’s signature rubber battery cushions. The latter ensure near tweak-free battery placement for a more natural chassis flex. The chassis is available in several wheelbase options. Other new parts include the rear brace with multiple side tube options to allow to fine-tune roll characteristics, as well as upper and lower front arms in various track width variants, an upper deck stiffener, rear pod plates and many more. The items are available separately or as a complete chassis conversion kit. Also available is the popular WTC wing-to-chassis mount that attaches the rear wing to the main chassis plate. JConcepts have introduced their new Ellipse 1/10th buggy tyre in Blue, Aqua and R2 compound. Named after the center bar built into the tread, the tyre is a compliment to successful tyres such as the Dirt Webs and Space Bars. The “Web” style tyre was built to compete on smooth high-grip indoor and outdoor surfaces which require a finely detailed connected bar pattern. The centre section of the tyre is a home run utilising a diamond “home plate” footprint to provide massive forward bite and increased longevity. The web of extensions are unique and have a directional touch giving the racer the ultimate tune-ability. The compound of choice for most indoor events, the exclusive gold compound, has shown to produce consistent results for racers week after week. Xray have introduced new stainless steel chassis weights for the XB2 series of 2WD buggies. Compact and easy to install the range includes a 17g front “under servo”, 17g front-middle “under electronics” and a 7g middle “under battery” weight all of which help to up the overall weight for improved rough track handling while giving the opportunity to fine-tune the overall weight balance of the buggy. The weights come precision machined from high-quality stainles steel, they are marked for easy identification and are available separately.
Coming from DMS Partz is a 45 gram brass centre chassis stiffener brace for the Corally SBX-410 buggy. The weight replaces the stock plastic kit rear chassis stiffener brace and adds weight to the rear of the buggy, giving a better ride on bumpy or rutted tracks. The weight also helps to keep weight centralised on the chassis in between the LiPo battery and motor.
