EcoPower WP110T & WP120T waterproof servos

Coming from AMain Hobbies’ EcoPower brand are two new waterproof servos. The standard voltage WP110T (0.16s/20.1kg-cm) and WP120T (0.09s/28.8kg-cm) are an ideal upgrade for ready-to-run cars, trucks and rock crawlers and they feature metal gears, dual ball bearings and lightweight upper and lower cases with aluminium centre sections. The WP110T is powered by a cored DC motor while the high-voltage compatible WP120T utilises a coreless motor. EcoPower recommends the WP110T servo for all 1/10-scale applications, while the higher power WP120T would be best suited for heavy monster trucks, 1/8-scale vehicles and crawlers.

KO Propo EX-RR & KR-418FH radio sets

New from KO Propo is the updated version of their EX-RR high-end transmitter that is soon available in three specific packages including the new KR-418FH receiver. Starting with the transmitter, while being left untouched in terms of the mechanical design the radio’s main unit comes with the new V2.1 software that offers a break-in function for gear and ball differentials. As many drivers opt to work and pre-heat their car’s differentials for a more consistent feeling on track, the function allows to set a time and throttle rate restricted action for precise diff working even at the starting line. The function can be assigned to the ET/BT key and a sound will indicate that the function is in use. Another new firmware feature is the hand brake function for drift car racers. It allows to set a hand brake function to the ET/BT key while still being on the throttle, which results in a more realistic and better controllable drift. In addition KO Propo have added software features such as a new All Reset function, the display now adds values for the 3CH/4CH positions as well as added changeable values for the gyro mode of the third and fourth channel. The V2.1 firmware is rounded out by a updated steering direct function and minor bug fixes. The radio system is available with the new KR-418FH receiver, as KR-418FH double receiver set or as Drift specific set including the KR-418FH, a KG-X gyro and RSx3-one10 Ver.D servo.
