Power HD LW-25MG metal gear crawler servo

Coming from Power HD is their new LW-25MG metal gear servo for trail trucks and crawlers. The blue anodised all-aluminium case houses a copper and aluminium geartrain for durability while the overall design allows for up to 25kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.14s at 7.4V input. A long 32cm receiver wire ensures the servo is a direct fit in trucks such as the Traxxas TRX-4, and special gaskets make it waterproof for go-everywhere capabilities.

Futaba 7PX Limited Edition – Coming soon

During this week’s All-Japan Model and Hobby Show Futaba are introducing their forthcoming 7PX Limited Edition high-end transmitter. Building on the existing 7PX the Limited Edition will feature and updated case in carbon fibre design as well as a grey handle cover and several new parts that lower the overall weight. In addition the radio will be compatible with Kyosho’s new Mini-Z Evo cars that offer a new plug-in receiver feature that allows to run the cars with the PX7 LE. Spektrum S6340BL HV low-profile aluminium servo

Spektrum have introduced their new top-of-the-foodchain low-profile servo for 1/10th scale applications. It offers a quick 0.07s of transit time and a torque of 17.4kg-cm at 8.4V input and finely tuned electronics and software integrate with powerful brushless motor technology to offer ultra performance. Heavy-duty servo lead-wire includes the convenience of a quick-release cable connection. Xpert R3 & R3HV low profile servos

Two new items from Xpert, the R3 and R3HV low profile quick release servos. The R3HV has the middle and top aluminium case with extremely good thermal dissipation, while the R3 has the centre aluminium piece with the lower & upper case from engineering plastic. Both R3 and R3HV utilise the highest strength stainless steel gears for the best durability and both are compatible with the ultra-fast response Sanwa SSR mode. All R3 and R3HV servos come with 50mm, 120mm, and 200mm all-black cables for the simplest and cleanest looking wiring.

SRT BH6015 HV brushless servo

SRT have introduced their new BH6015 HV brushless servo for 1/10th on-road applications. Offering a speed of down to 0.05s and up to 15kg-cm of torque, the servo utilises a combined metal and composite case for lower costs while the brushless motor and mixed titanium and aluminium geartrain ensure high performance and durability. The low-profile servo comes with a 180mm receiver wire with universal plug and it will hit stores very soon.

The crystal clear protective sheet is easy to apply and a direct fit and it prevents the radio’s screen from becoming scratched or damaged. In addition it is keeping away finger prints while making for easier cleaning.

PowerStar RS472HV Sanwa-compatible receiver

PowerStar have introduced their new Sanwa-compatible RS472HV receiver. Coming in the same case as the Futaba-compatible variant, the receiver is usable with transmitters such as the new M17 as well as the M12S, M12, MT-44, MT-4S, MT-S and MT-4. The full range 4-channel receiver measures 35.5×23.3×12.7mm, it is usable with 3.5V to 8.4V input and its firmware can be updated, making it future ready.
