Sanwa PGS-XB & PGS-XR programmable brushless servos

UK Sanwa distributors Schumacher have introduced the new programmable PGS-XB and XR servos. The standard size bruhsless servos complement the recently introduced PGS-LH servo with the PGS-XB (0.11s/21.1kg-cm) being the high-torque variant while the PGS-XR (0.09s/17.3kg-cm) is the high-speed offering. Both feature full aluminium heatsink cases, strengthened full-metal gears, SSR and SHR Mode compatibility as well as telemetry functions. Using the optional PGS Setting Gear program card further parameters are accessible such as Boost, Dead Band, Torque and Feeling adjustments.

Kyosho Syncro EX-6R 2.4GHz Mini-Z transmitter

Made for Kyosho’s 2.4GHz Mini-Z vehicles is the Syncro EX-6R transmitter. It utilises the innovative MHS (Mini-Z Hybrid Spread) 2.4GHz system that combines both Frequency Hopping (FH-SS) and Direct Sequence (DS-SS) spread spectrum, making it the fastest multifunctional transmitter in Mini-Z history. While the improved interference resistance and stability of the MHS 2.4GHz system represents a significant evolution from the ASF 2.4GHz and FHS 2.4GHz systems, the greatest benefits are due to the high-speed processing and communication that creates greater linear control, enabling the machine to be manoeuvred exactly as intended along optimal racing lines. In addition, the EX-6R features a newly designed throttle with revised length, shape, operating angle and sensor for greater direct feel as well as a new softer steering spring for greater sensitivity to enhance driving performance.

Hitec D930SW, D954SW & D955TW digital servos

Hitec have expanded their range of premium-class D-series servos with three new high speed and high torque variants. The D930SW (0.07s/13.0kg-cm), D954SW (0.12s/29kg-cm) and D955TW (0.12s/20kg-cm) are powered by a 32-bit microcontroller unit with a 12-bit analog to digital converter for rapid, high resolution response. Coreless metal brush motors, long-life potentiometers as well as dual ball bearings make for high durability while nylon reinforced plastic upper and lower cases in combination with aluminium heatsink middle sections make for low weights as well as exceptional dust and splash water resistance. All servos are widely programmable, they are high-voltage compatible and the SW types feature precision-cut steel gears while the TW variant comes with a lightweight yet durable titanium gear train.

Reedy HV Digital metal gear servos

Reedy have released these HV Digital metal gear servos which are a quality upgrade for RTR vehicles with speed and torque ratings that improve driving precision by giving drivers a better feel for their vehicle. These servos are also a great option for entry level racers who want to enter the hobby economically while they learn to drive and tune their race car. High voltage compatibility means that increased ESC BEC output voltage can be used without fear of damaging sensitive internal components. Precision metal gears, dual ball bearings and a water-resistant outer case further improve reliability and value.
