GRP release the Cubic buggy tire

GRP Cubic

This new Cubic tire, for 1/8th off road racing, is a development on previous versions available from GRP. Suitable for muddy and damp conditions these tires feature a thread pattern that sports small pins to improve the maximum lateral grip as well as a central rows of small paddles to increase traction.

The new CUBIC was developed with the precise objective to obtain a tire with technical characteristics suitable on muddy, damp and wet track. Its special structure guarantees a fantastic safety drive and a phenomenal grip, reducing to a minimum any driving mistakes.

Pro-Line Hole Shot for 1/8th buggy

Pro-Line have released some new 1/8th scale buggy tyres based on the Hole Shot MTR that debuted at last years US truck Nationals and took home the win. Available in Pro-Line’s competitive M2 and M3 compounds the new tyre sports oversized inner ribs for anti-tire ballooning under acceleration and features a small pin design for use on hard-packed tracks.

Active Hobbies are well known in Japan for their quality tyres and have been used to win many major titles over there, and now this same quality product is now available in the USA. The rubber compound used in these tyres not only provides great traction but is also less likely to chunk in comparison to other compounds that are currently on the market. Much More have released this new tyre inserts that have been specifically made for carpet racing. The MIA-CP is less elastic and lighter than other tire inserts, so they are suitable for use on carpet and they come supplied with powder to decrease friction between tire and insert, so the inserts stay stable inside and won’t be heat up.

Much More Sap tire conditioner

Much More have released 2 versions of their new odorless tyre conditioner called Blue Sap and Red Sap that has been specifically designed to provide the best grip for rubber tires on carpet tracks. The blue sap provides more grip than the red sap and both can be applied using the supplied brush, just apply a few minutes before the race and wipe off the excess.

Panther release new Stadium Truck Tire

Panther have released a new off road tire suitable for Stadium Trucks. Called the Switch 2.0, this tire is dialed-in for indoor clay and blue groove tracks, so mostly US tracks then.

Fits 2.2â€ truck wheels. The Switch 2.0 center bars will give you the forward bite you need and the square lugs on the sides will give you the steering you need. Like the other Switch 2.0 designs this tire will be the hot ticket on the indoor clay and the blue grove tracks.

Panther also released a new hat too that features a flame design with the Panther logo embroidered on the front. You can check that out here.
