Exotek Twisters street eliminator tire sets

Exotek Racing have released these new Twisters ultra high performance 1/10 street eliminator tire sets for B6, 22S, 22 5.0, DR10, Slash and similar 2wd drag cars. It includes 1 pair of belted rubber drag tires with nylon wheels and air valves. Premium rubber chemistry for maximum softness provides excellent grip on all surfaces, it is the same rubber chemistry used in high performance 28R 1/10 touring car tires. A wider tire tread with specially designed sidewalls have larger sidewalls than SC based tires for improved sidewall flex and more volume inside the tire. The sidewalls are also equal sized on both sides for equal sidewall flex for more consistent traction. A special thin belting along with thin rubber profile provide maximum grip and lighter overall weight, best suited for racing at the highest level and special events. Their slightly smaller 102mm diameter tire will make it easier for optimal gear ranges. They include newly precision moulded lightweight nylon wheels that provides maximum acceleration, trueness and durability while looking good. Includes rubber air valves for inflating air along with assembly instructions.

JConcepts 9 shot 17mm wheels

To complete their wheel offering in Dirt Oval, JConcepts is now offering a 17mm hex based 9 shot 1/8th to SCT tire wheel. Built for drivers racing 1/8th buggy vehicles converted to use SCT tires on dirt oval racing machines, the new 9 Shot wheel looks the part and performs at the highest level. The 9 Shot features a deep 3D depth spoke with ghosted recess rotated about the centre of the wheel. The centre section has lightening holes outside a traditional 17mm wheel nut area and an inner heavy-duty 17mm hex. The wheels are available 2 pieces per package and available in white, black, and yellow colour styles.

JConcepts Landmines pre-mounted for Traxxas UDR

JConcepts now offer their Landmines performance scale tire for the Traxxas UDR. Available pre-mounted on the new Tremor Traxxas UDR front & rear wheel, which is also available seperately, the design starts with a robust carcass carefully shaped and sized for a multitude of conditions and capable of bashing those difficult courses while being down-to-earth enough to carry a scale appearance. The team spent considerable time with the split-block center design which has been sliced, stepped, and recessed for flexibility and contortion over sharp, loose, and polished surfaces. The Landmines have alternating solid and cavity pads which is ideal for transitioning from smooth dirt or pavement into dirt, mud, and rocky terrain. Moving toward the edges of the carcass, the tire has horizonal grippy pads with edge and channels to provide additional forward bite. Down within the tread, a lightning pattern, knob plots and connector bars pull the design together to work together at shallow and deep sinking positions. Once power is applied to the vehicle, the tread spacing opens which allows for deep digging, making it a great working tire in dirt and muddy conditions. As the tread rolls down the sidewall, a whole new course of tread and side-lugging is applied. A grippy radial ring provides a consistent rubber contact patch in high-speed conditions while in the vertical plane, new traction bars alternate between angular and island mapping for additional grip.

Pro-Line 1/10 Impulse 2.2″ 12mm crawler wheels

Pro-Line have brought the popular Impulse rock crawling wheel styling to the 2.2″ crawler segment. These black plastic Internal Bead-Loc wheels are designed to not only look scale but to be super easy to use by only requiring 6 screws per wheel for mounting tires. The unique 3-piece plastic wheel design bolts together in the back and locks on to all Pro-Line’s full list of 2.2″ crawling tires. These wheels are a direct fit on the Axial Ryft and will also fit a variety of 2.2″ rock crawlers, racers & bouncers such as the Bomber and Wraith Spawn with the use of the included axle washers & shims.

JConcepts Hazard & Glide 5 SCX24 1” wheels

As the popularity of 1/24th vehicles rise, JConcepts’ Hazard seemed to be a popular choice to join the 1.0” wheel diameter world. No detail has been untouched, the new wheel includes the 10-spoke Hazard pattern, outer ribbed pattern, mock lug-nut treatment near the centre of the wheel finished off with matte finish. The beads of the wheel have also been textured for better adhesion for the gluing process noticeable in completed pre-mount and user generated tire mounting. Also new, the Glide 5 wheel is simple but has a retro vibe that makes it a popular match for many different body shapes and styles regardless of age. The 5’s incorporate a heavy 3D 5-spoke design which carries a pocketed look into and through the wheel. A multitude of angle changes on the face of the wheel gives it rigidity and a scale appearance. The matte face of the wheel looks brilliant and the stealth black colour matches to just about any paint imaginable. The inside of both wheels has beefy inner ribbing to support the outer hoop of the wheel right to the wheel hex area. The hex area is a direct bolt-on to the Axial SCX24 vehicle with a strong connection for crawling fun. Each package contains 4 wheels for an easy to change-over to new wheels.

JConcepts 9 shot SCT 12mm hex wheels

JConcepts ups the ante in in the wheel department and provides a new style for 1/10th SCT off-road and dirt oval racers. The 9 shot is 1:1 inspired to provide the ultimate performance to off-road racing vehicles around the world. The 9 spoke design, 2.2” x 3.0” mounting diameter, 12mm hex base design fits a huge assortment of vehicles competing in the market such as the Team Associated SC6 genre. The 9 shot features a deep 3D depth spoke with mock 5 lug bolt pattern to bring SCT trucks, SCT Late Model, A-Mod and B-Mod vehicles to another level of scale inspiration on the racing scene. The JConcepts replacement wheels are available 2 pieces per package and available in white, black, and yellow colour styles. The 9 shot wheels are the maximum size allowed under ROAR rules and make a statement with their large, open spoke appearance, slight concave dish shaped design and superior inner rib design. Avid Truss 1/8th truck wheel 4.0”

The Avid Truss 1/8th truck wheel is another innovation by Avid RC. The wheel is extremely important to the overall handling of your vehicle and is often overlooked. Avid took all the unique high-performance features from their 1/8th scale buggy wheel and placed them directly into this design. They also went back to the drawing board on reformulating the material to best withstand the brutally cold weather that racers are now willing to race in. Looking inside the wheel you will see where it gets the name ‘Truss’. The internal ribbing uses the strength of triangles instead of having straight ribs. The focus of the Truss starts at the centre of the wheel, so the tighter triangles help keep the torque strength right where you want it when applying all your throttle, at the nut. Available in yellow and white.
