F1 Supercup – Report

The MCM RC indoor track in Caserano, Italy hosted the F1 Supercup this past weekend. In the Formula Supercup class it was Fabrizio Villa with the overall TQ after winning three of the four qualifiers as Marco Donadelli came in 2nd overall. The triple A-main events then saw Marco Donadelli making a clean sweep in all three mains as Fabrizio Villa came in 2nd, tie on points with 3rd placed Alberto Riboni.

Jessica Palsson sweeps Winter Cup Rd2

The RaceHouse RC Sjöbo track in Sjöbo, Sweden hosted the second round of the Swedish Winter Cup this past weekend. Schumacher’s Jessica Palsson was in control of things in the 2WD and 4WD Buggy classes as he took the overall TQs and wins in both categories. In 4WD the Tekno RC duo of Roger and Linus Olsen came in 2nd and 3rd respectively while the 2WD podium was completed by Markus Jönsson and Anton Nimaker.

Reavis & Pillars win at Rockstar Winter Off-road Series Rd2

The second round of the Rockstar Winter Off-road Series was held at PDX Underground in Portland, Oregon last Saturday. The event attracted a total of 80 entries and in 2WD Modified Buggy it was Team Associated’s Ryan Reavis with the overall TQ and also the win in A1 and A2 of the triple A-main events. Yokomo’s Andy DiBrino came in 2nd with 8-2-1 finishes while Yokomo US team manager, Joe Pillars had to settle for 3rd overall with 2-4-3 results.

William Venables wins at TORCH Winter Series Rd3

Round 3 of the TORCH Winter Series was held this past weekend. Team Associated’s William Venables would take the TQ in the 2WD Buggy class and he also walked away with the overall victory following wins in A1 and A3 while Yokomo driver, Yasir Mugal came in 2nd with 4-1-3 finishes in the A-mains. SWorkz driver Stephen Brown ended tie on points with Yasir, however he had to settle for 3rd overall despite scoring three runner-up spots in the triple A-mains.

40th Annual U.S. Indoor Champs – Report

The 40th Annual U.S. Indoor Champs were held in Cleveland, Ohio this past weekend, attracting nearly 400 entries. The Modified Touring class was lighting the track on fire with ballistic fast laps and it was shaping up to be a battle of the local boys vs. the international drivers. The local boys would strike first with Sam Isaacs securing the TQ spot. Second qualifier and current 1/12th Scale World Champion, Alexander Hagberg was poised to not let Issacs run away with the win. With things getting off to clean start, two laps into the race Hagberg would unfortunately clip a curb sending him off the track. A couple of turns later, the field would bunch up allowing Isaacs to build up a huge lead with the rest jockeying for position. Before the end tone, local Drew Ellis worked his way up to the second spot and Canadian Keven Hebert rounded out the top three.

RCK Challenge East Division – Report

A round of the RCK Challenge East Division was held in Aken, Germany last weekend. The tight and challenging track made for some close racing and in Touring Stock 13.5T it was Stefan Schulz with the overall TQ, overall win and also a new track record. Behind him it was Steffen Stein on the runner-up spot, coming from 4th on the grid, as Johann Thiersch completed the top 3 result.

RCI V2 to welcome Marc Rheinard for OneTen Rd5 & 6

The organisers of the OneTen Series presented by Infinity are delighted to announce the return of Marc Rheinard to the series for Rd5 & 6 in Shanghai, the German making his series debut at last season’s finale in Hong Kong. With the championship returning to RCI V2 on January 4th & 5th, having also hosted the opening two rounds, the 4x World Champion will be making his first ever trip to Shanghai and the Infinity driver’s first race in mainland China since the World Championships in Beijing in 2016. Making a big impression when he joined the OneTen series at PYC back in March, winning on his debut, this time he will be running indoor on carpet and will be going up against a very on-form teammate Jin Sawada who has won all 4 rounds of the series to date. With the double header running alongside the exciting new SGP1 Formula series, we will announce a number of other big names that will attend in the coming days. Michael Gers wins at Off-road Turkey Race

The 1/10th Off-road Turkey Race was held at the Ohio RC Factory in Jeffersonville, Ohio last Saturday, attracting nearly 80 entries. In the popular 13.5T Wheeler class it was Chad Wipperman with the overall TQ, however the single 7-minute A-main was won by 3rd place qualifier, Michael Gers as P2 qualifier, Nathan McClanahan conserved his qualifying performance by finishing on the runner-up spot.
