6th Annual JConcepts Fall Brawl – Announcement

The 6th Annual JConcepts Fall Brawl will be held on October 5th at the world-famous Silver Dollar R/C Raceway in Chico, California. The track has been redesigned to support both 1/10-scale and 1/8-scale racing; eBuggy will be offered as an alternate class at the Fall Brawl. There will be race classes for everyone including Open and Pro divisions based on skill level and also the popular “First Family of RC” title will be awarded. This year’s format will be the same as in years’ past with the finishes of kids 14 and under with their father’s finishing position will be combined to determine the overall position. The team with the best finishes will be engraved on the First Family of RC Trophy. Sign ups for the race can be found here and more information can be found on the official Facebook page here.

The Swiss Carpet Race – Announcement

Mini Racing Chiasso will hold the The Swiss Carpet Race event on the weekend of the 13th of November at the Palapenz sports centre in Chiasso, Switzerland. Classes run include Touring Modified, Touring 13.5T Stock, 1/10th and 1/12th pan car as well as Formula. Registration for the event is now open here.

Marco Buccella joins MD Racing

Spanish company MD Racing have announced the signing of Italy’s Marco Buccella to their team. Marco will campaign MD Racing’s MDF14’16 formula car at events throughout the country and he has the following to say about the deal:

After several different cars that I tried over the season the MD Racing MDF14’16 got to me a very good feeling. The car is very fast and easy to drive. I want to thank Vicente Machancoses of MD Racing and Davide Marca of Minizracing.it/Markaracing.com for the opportunity to represent the team, and to look forward for achieving more great results with them. BRCA GT12 World Cup 2017 – Announcement

The BRCA have announced the GT12 World Cup 2017 to be held from the 10th to 12th of February. The event will be run in the same location, The Centre:MK in Milton Keynes, and to a similar format as the Reedy 1/12 Race of Champions hosted earlier in 2016. More than 100 registrations have already been made by competitors hoping to secure an entry, but the BRCA welcome further interest so as to guarantee a high standard of racing by selecting the best drivers possible to fill the 100 places. Utah State Championships – Announcement

Murf’s Intermountain RC Raceway will play host to the Utah State Championships November 3rd through the 6th. Home of the April Fools Classic, the famous clay racing surface will have a fresh layout for this event. The schedule includes a round of seating practice on Thursday evening, one round of qualifying on Friday, three rounds of qualifying on Saturday and the mains on Sunday. There will be a resort of qualifying after the second round for anyone that can’t make Thursday’s seating practice round. Categories run include Modified and Stock Buggy, Truck and SCT as well as 1/8th E-Buggy. More information including the schedule and rules can be found here.

Czech 1/8th Off-road National Champs Rd4 – Report

The fourth and final round of Czech 1/8th Off-road National Championship took place last weekend in Kolin. Steady rain the week before the race questioned the condition of the track on race day but the club did an amazing job to prepare the venue for the event. The Nitro Buggy class qualifying was lead by Jiri Mara from Max Gotzl and Frantisek Kalenda while the E-Buggy category had Kaja Novotny coming out fastest despite skipping Q2 due to rain. Max Gotzl and Milan Mudra came in second and third.

Park Jooshin wins at Korean National Championship

The final round of the Korean KMRCA National Championship was recently held and the event saw Park Jooshin (Xray) walking away with the TQ and win in the 13.5T Super Sports touring class. Serpent driver Kim Sungmin, campaigning the company’s new Project 4X touring car, ended the day on the runner-up spot from Yokomo driver Ra Sungwhan.

Arrowmax sign World Champion Ronald Völker

Arrowmax have announced the signing of Yokomo’s Ronald Völker for their factory team. The 2016 IFMAR ISTC World and multiple ETS Champion will use Arrowmax’s tools and accessories to prepare, maintain and setup his rides and he has the following to say about the deal:
