Keven Hebert doubles at Mile High Indoor Champs

In only a few years, the Mile High Indoor Championships has transformed from a cozy regional event into a full-blown national competition. The best drivers from around the country converged upon the newly carpeted 5280 Raceway for the last major event of the carpet racing season. In the Touring Modified class, Keven Hebert went on to grab the pole position for Sunday’s single A-Main event with Ralph Burch lining up second followed by ROAR Carpet Nats winner Chris Adams in third. In the A-main Keven took the lead over the second- and third-place cars early on in the main event. Adams and Burch later retired after a huge crash, which allowed Keven to claim the win by half a lap over the second-place finisher. In 1/12 Modified qualifying, Keven claimed the pole position by a margin of four seconds over Kory Harbke. In the main event the two battled head to head over the last four minutes, with Keven taking another win to cap off a very successful weekend in the Mile High City.
