Our partners Kimihiko Yano in Japan have started selling these heavy duty 6 cell battery cases from Pro-Match. Suitable for holding ten 6 cell packs, the contents are well protected using foam while the outer shell of the case is made from a hard wearing plastic that sports the Pro Match logo printed in green. The contents can be closed inside using 2 sliding type latches, which can also take a padlock for added security, while the opening action utilises a simple but durable hinge.

Japanese firm Eagle Racing have announced that they will start selling this 2nd version of their high performance 14A power supply, the SHE. Converting 220V to 12V, this power supply sports a cooling fan for stable power delivery, a blue coloured metal casing with a large mount of air vents to further help with heat reduction and the SHE is also supplied with a power dock to allow you to easily connect appliances through the use of crocodile clips.

Powers International of Japan have released yet another new type of cell, the 2nd this week, with the release of these H-Energy Select 4300MAh competition matched MiMh cells. Similar to the GP4600 cells, in that they have been worked by Masaaki Hirosaka, they provide the user with lots punch with good endurance and are JMRCA recognised. Sold in packs of 6 with battery bars, or in a pack of 24 without.

Much More Docking Station

Much More have announced the release of this Docking Station for use with the companys Silent Charger and Silent Charger Platinum, and can also be connected to other chargers using a connecter. The unit allows enables the ability to connect mulitple cables to charge various objects such as receiver packs, transmitters, glow plug connectors and basically everything that needs charging, or discharging, other than car packs. Available in August.

Trinity Balanced Charger for LiPo Packs

Trinity have released a new balanced charger for use with your 2 and 3 cell Li-Po hobby battery packs. Operated using AC mains supply, this balance charger monitors and charges each cell individually so there is no possibility of one of the cells being overcharged. Simple to operate, just plug it in and it can charge 2 cells (7.4 volts) or 3 cells (11.1 volt) at 0.75A.

We showed the extensive range of LiPo cells from Nosram before but they have added even more packs to their range with the release of new receiver packs and regulator. These Nosram VTEC LiPo receiver packs have a nominal voltage of 7,4V which needs to be converted into the regular 6V input voltage for every receiver. The new Nosram LiPo RX regulator takes on this duty and will constantly provide 6V input voltage with a continuous 5A current which results in consistent steering and braking response throughout the duration of long finals.

Our partners Kimihiko Yano in Japan have started selling this latest brushed speed controller from Advanced Electronics, the 5.1 PC Pro. Suitable for touring cars, and small enough for use in 1/12th scale cars, this speedo uses an up to date FET element for minimum power loss, has a temperature shut down sensor and has 4 built in throtlle profiles. Adjustment of the ESC can be done using the one touch button located on its face and a multi coloured LED guides you in your setting changes. Suiuable for 4 – 6 cells, the controller minus the wires weighs only 15.8 grams and has a very small footprint (26.5 x 21.5 x 14.5 mm).
