Ales Bidovsky doubles at RC-Hobby Racing Cup Rd5

The fifth round of RC-Hobby Racing Cup was held in Skripov, Czech Republic. In the premier 1/8th Nitro Buggy class it was Xray’s Ales Bidovsky who took the win from Xray teammates Ondrej Kulhanek and Jakub Mader in second and third respectively. Krystof Prasil (Mugen) and Jaroslav Valder (Xray) completed the top 5 result. Elsewhere in 1/8th E-buggy, it was again Ales Bidovsky (Xray) who came out on top after the final. Roman Pudich (Xray) in second and Jaroslav Valder (Xray) in third completed the podium result while Radim Siska (Xray) and Tony Hybler (Serpent) had to settle for fourth and fifth respectively.

Nicolas Bregante wins at Metropolitan Race Rd3

The third round of the Argentinian Metropolitan racing series took place at the Speed Paradise track with the competition being on a very high level. In the Buggy Pro class it was Nicolas Bregante to take the day’s win from Sebastian Recio and Lucas Pons in second and third respectively.

Akio Sobue sweeps Speed King Tour Rd6

Round six of the Japanese-based Speed King Tour was held at the RC Stadium Sodegaura track in the Chiba prefecture. The asphalt track was renewed in time for the event and it also received a new layout, making for equal conditions for both locals and guest drivers. Current Touring Modified points leader, Tamiya’s Akio Sobe showed his speed right from the start of the practice and he would take an easy TQ after the qualifiers. Yokomo driver Yugo Nagashima tried to catch Akio but had to settle for second.

Asian Onroad Championship Rd3 – Report

The Asian Onroad Championship made its first ever appearance in South Korea at the GRC Circuit in Gimpo City, which is just a few minutes outside of Seoul, for round three of the series. The anticipation was high along with the excitement and enthusiasm as Korean racers were treated to the special appearance of some of the best racers from around the world including newly crowned IFMAR ISTC World Champion Ronald Volker, Worlds A-main finalist Naoki Akiyama, Worlds B-main finalist Ryosuke Yamamoto, and Worlds third place finisher Viktor Wilck. The stage was set for another fantastic AOC as the vibe and energy of the atmosphere was addictively electric.

Simone Brocca wins at Italian Race of Champions

The Race of Champions was held this past weekend in Leno, Italy and in the Formula class it was Simone Brocca who walked away with the win. Top qualifier, Matteo Berlincioni had to settle for second behind Simone. Stefano Luppi would round out the top 3 result from Armando Tanzini and Ivan Milesi in fourth and fifth respectively.

Giacomo Moretti takes Swiss Formula title

The final round of the Swiss Electric On-road Nationals was held at the Circuit Sebastien Buemi in Aigle. In the Formula class Fenix Racing’s Giacomo Moretti snatched the overall title by winning the final round and after taking three out of five round wins and scoring four out of five TQs this year.

Alessio Mazzeo takes Italian GT Expert title

The final round of the Italian National GT Championship was held at the Lombrico track in Milazzo, Sicily. Alessio Mazzeo would take the day’s win in front of Fabio Boero and Michele Baruzzi and with the win Alessio would also take the overall title in the GT Expert category.

French Electric On-road Nationals finale – Report

The final round of the French Electric On-road Nationals was held in Thionville in the north of France. In the 10.5T Touring class Alexandre Duchet swept the qualifying by taking five round TQs to obtain the pole position from Michael Jasmin and Pierre Delorme. In the finals Alexandre confirmed his domination by winning the opening two legs while Michael Jasmin and Pierre Delorme also maintained their second and third places. Alexandre Kunkler came in fourth from Mathieu Picaudé in fifth.
