Drake, Glancy & Hollis win at Ice Breaker

Drake, Glancy & Hollos win at Ice Breaker

This past weekend was the Ice Breaker at Indy RC World, a venue that features an indoor off-road track. The layout for the Ice Breaker was very technical and had lots of jumps. Qualifying was dominated by TLR’s Adam Drake. He TQ’ed all three round of qualifying in both Nitro Buggy and Nitro Truck. The track grooved up throughout the weekend and was high bite for the mains on Sunday. In the 45 minute Truck final, Drake slowly pulled away and won the final. Second place went to Josh Glancy making it a TLR/Novarossi/Pro-Line 1,2. In the 45 minute Buggy final most of the guys switch to a harder compound tire and the race was on between Drake and Glancy. Both drivers were pitting at 11:30. They exchanged the lead throughout the race and finished only 1-2 seconds apart. In the end, Josh Glancy took the win followed by Adam Drake and Taylor Peterson finished third a lap down to the leaders. TLR’s Cody Hollis took the win in Electric 1/8th Buggy as well.

Thanks to Adam Drake for sending the report.
