Pro Tips with Jilles Groskamp – Part 4 & 5

Following on from the first three parts of our new series of videos that offers in-depth tips from pro drivers, comes the 4th and 5th part of this 5 part series with Tamiya Racing Factory team driver and new European Champion Jilles Groskamp. In these final two episode Jilles guides us through the last steps of assembling a complete Tamiya TRF416WE chassis from scratch, as well as showing us how to tweak the car to perfection and we even get to see the final product in action around the MACH track in Heemstede. Expect more Pro Tips videos in the near future.

Richard Saxton sets RC Jump World Record

The above video shows Team Associated’s Richard Saxton set the World Record at 137.3 feet for the longest radio controlled car jump with a Team Associated RC8B nitro powered buggy.

Pro Tips with Jilles Groskamp – Part 3

Following on from the first two parts of our new series of videos that offers in-depth tips from pro drivers, comes the 3rd of a 5 part series with Tamiya Racing Factory team driver and new European Champion Jilles Groskamp. The first in a new series of videos that offers in-depth tips from the pro drivers, we hooked up with Tamiya Racing Factory team driver Jilles Groskamp to get some insight into how he prepares his race winning Tamiya TRF416WE. In this first video, Jilles tackles the perfect shock absorber, from stripping to rebuilding. Future episodes, which will be shown here and also on our YouTube channel (see link next to the search box) in the coming weeks, will tackle the ball differential, final assembly and tweaking of the chassis.

Associated RC12R5 Front end & How-to DVD set

New from Factory Team is the complete front end assembly of the World Championship winning Team Associated RC12R5. Perfect as either a replacement front end, using for spares or for attaching to another chassis, this set includes all the parts needed including fasteners, plastics and suspension parts. Also new from Associated is a two-DVD set in which Richard “the King” Saxton goes through the build of a nitro vehicle from the ground up. Divided into chapters individually accessible from the main menu, the first DVD thoroughly covers all the different assembly points as well as tires, bodies and engine break-in. A bonus DVD covers a typical race day, with Richard giving running commentary on what he does for race prep.
