South American Championships – Video

Yesterday we wrote about the South American Championships that were held near Santiago Chile last weekend that was won by Argentinian Mugen driver Adrian Castro, and today we have some videos from that hour long A-main race. These videos have been produced and uploaded by Pato Concha, who himself finished 3rd in the A-final, and they have been split into 5 videos from the main final with the first part showing above and the other 4 parts showing below.

Motorsport Mania at the Dirt Nitro Challenge

US TV show Motorsport Mania (FSN) was present at this months Dirt Nitro Challenge, that we reported on previously, and from the event they made a 30 minute programme that includes interviews with Chad Bradley, Jay Halsey, Ryan Maifield, Scott Hughes, Jim Hottinger and more. The video itself has been split into 3 sections with the 1st part shown above and the other 2 videos shown below.

RC Zone Live Webcast from RCX 2007

RCX 2007

We just got dropped an e-mail from the guys over at RC Zone telling us about their upcoming Live Webcast from this years RCX show that takes place in Pomona California on the 31st if March till the 1st of April. The webcast will be streaming live interviews, track demos including the Supercross Challenge, and showcasing some of the latest products throughout both days. It is completely free to view and no registration is required. A chatroom will be made available for members to simultaneously discuss the latest happenings and product releases. The entire webcast will be archived and broken in to separate videos for download after the show for those who can’t tune in.

Above is a great video biography of top US racer, 2007 Silver State Champ and World Championship finalist, Mugen racer Scott Hughes. This video is a produced in association with the US Pro Cup and the Dirt Racing and gives a great insight into the life of this top driver who also works for Pro Line, in their Marketing department.

Snowbird A-main Videos now online

Thanks to the wonder that is YouTube and the enthusiasm of some great spectators with a video camera we can bring you all the important A-mains from the Worlds biggest race, the Snowbirds. This is far better than the webcam as you can actually now see the far corner of the track, those who watched it live online will know what im talking about. The first one is above and is from the Touring Mod final that was won by Jilles Groskamp, the others are below.

HobbyTech STR8 1/8th buggy – Video

During our round up of the off road vehicles on show at the Nurnberg toy fair we mentioned the new 1/8th scale buggy from HobbyTech called the STR8, but didnt know much more about it. Well here is a video of it in action and the producers have made it look pretty good, with some rap music and slow motion air shots, i have to say it looks good. Check it out in the video above.

Videos from the 2006/07 Carpet Wars now online

We’ve been covering the Carpet Wars through the reports posted on the sites of Helger Racing and CML distribution and it looks like a great, and very popular, indoor Winter Series. Well now thanks to RC Tech member Skiddins, who was at the event with his video camera, we can now watch some of the action from the 4th round of the Championship. The video above is off the first final in the modified class and features World Champion Andy Moore.

Ray Woods Worlds coverage from Indonesia now available

So Ray Woods dropped us a mail last night telling us that his new DVD covering the 1/8th Buggy World Championships from Jakarta Indonesia was now available. Ray does extensive coverage of this race including background news, interviews with the top drivers and of course multi camera race action.
