Kyosho have updated the Inferno GT2 1/8th nitro on-road kit that is now called the Inferno GT2 Race Spec 1/8 GP 4WD RS. The vehicle has been tuned up for even greater performance to deliver speeds over 70km/h. Coming soon from Kyosho is the Inferno MP9 TKI4 Spec A 1/8th nitro buggy roller. The pre-assembled kit out of Kyosho’s Spec A range is built by experienced staff and the kits are individually checked by Inferno designer Yuichi Kanai. Areas such as shock absorbers and diffs are built to very high standards to guarantee best performances as are details such as ride height and suspension geometry that all come pre-set and race-ready. From begging John Stokes and Alex Kong at Great Planes for support back in the day, to watching the creation of Kyosho America near my house in Southern California, to meeting Joel Johnson and Steve Pond at that time, as well as all the Kyosho America staff. Following yesterday’s introduction of the forthcoming Inferno MP9e TKI4 1/8th E-Buggy, Kyosho today released more detailed images of the company’s top-of-the-foodchain kit. The version 4 will include some subtle updates and changes previously available only with the nitro-powered TKI4 kit but now also EP racers can benefit of 2mm longer front A-arms, the updated +2mm roll centre front shock stay and upper arm mounts as well as an updated wing mount that allows to shift the wing up and down, forth and back. Kyosho have released first information on the forthcoming Inferno MP9e TKI4 1/8th E-buggy kit. Based off of the MP9e TKI the version 4 kit features many parts already utilised by the TKI4 nitro buggy such as longer front A-arms, an H-S front shock tower and +2mm front upper arm mounts, as well as an updated rear wing stay and rear wing. Following the introduction of the upgraded Inferno VE Kyosho America have also announced the soon release of the DBX VE 2.0 1/10th scale electric buggy. It offers the convenience of a 1/10th scale vehicle mixed with 1/8th scale performance levels, and the upgraded kit now includes the 2.4GHz Syncro KT-231P transmitter and KS4031-06W high-torque and high-speed steering servo.
