The 1st Annual Kyosho America Masters will be held from December 12th to 14th at RC Tracks Las Vegas. The first ever Kyosho Masters event on U.S. soil will be run in 1/8th scale Nitro and Electric Buggy classes and sees the attendance of international stars such as Australia’s Kyle McBride, UK’s Elliott Boots or Japan’s Yuichi Kanai who will battle it out with American drivers such as World Champions Cody King and Jared Tebo. Kyosho’s nitro off-road mastermind Yuichi Kanai introduced this new engine mount for the Kyosho MP9 1/8th off-road buggy. Instead of using two separate base plates the new mount is of a 1-piece U-shaped design which is understood to help with stability and rigidity while the engine itself is still mounted using spilt mounting blocks. Kyosho’s mastermind Yuichi Kanai is well known for his green-themed Inferno buggies and now he came up with the idea of producing coloured plastics for the usually black-coloured receiver and battery boxes of the MP9 TKI3 buggy. PSM have introduced two new optional parts for the Kyosho Inferno MP9e TKI and the CML Centro C4.2. First up for the MP9e is a 3mm thick lightweight carbon fibre centre differential brace which replaces the standard nitro brace included in the kit. For the C4.2 are new battery strap posts which are made from high quality 7075 aluminium and will replace the original Posts.
