2018 Shizuoka Hobby Show – Kyosho

Kyosho, beside Tamiya, are another big player that lacks to present ground breaking new kits at this week’s Shizuoka Hobby Show, however a couple of new items are on show such as an exquisitely looking NSX GT3 body shell for 200mm cars or the refurbished and already introduced Inferno Neo 3.0 1/8th nitro off-road buggy. Kyosho Inferno Neo 3.0 1/8th nitro RTR buggy

Coming soon on Kyosho’s popular Inferno 1/8th buggy platform is the Inferno Neo 3.0 ReadySet RTR nitro buggy. The vehicle makes use of the Championship winning MP7.5, comes factory-assembled and features performance parts such as front universal driveshafts, big bore shock absorbers, fluid-filled and tuneable front, centre and rear differentials as well as sealed receiver and receiver battery boxes. Kyosho MP9 TKI4 Spec-A 10th Anniversary Special Edition

Coming soon from Kyosho is the Inferno MP9 TKI4 Spec-A 10th Anniversary Special Edition 1/8th nitro buggy kit. The pro-built version of the recently introduced 10-year anniversary edition of Kyosho’s World Championship winning Inferno platform comes with a variety of option parts such as hard-coated shock absorber bodies, 8-hole 1.3mm pistons, Aeration shock caps, lightweight shock bushings and high upper front suspension mounts. Kyosho Inferno GT3 adjustable alloy C-hub set

Coming from Kyosho and made for the Inferno GT3 1/8th on-road kits is an adjustable aluminium front C-hub set. Offering 4 degrees of built-in caster the hubs make use of composite inserts to reduce the caster to 2 degrees or increase it to 6 degrees in order to fine-tune the car’s steering characteristics going in or coming out of a corner. Machined from high-quality aluminium the hubs also allow to adjust the steering knuckle height using shims, and they come in Kyosho’s signature gun metal colour to match the remainder of the car’s option parts. Kyosho MP9 TKI4 10th Anniversary Special Edition buggy

Kyosho Europe have introduced the Inferno MP9 TKI4 10th Anniversary Special Edition 1/8th nitro off-road buggy kit. The car is based off of the previous TKI4 kit and includes a number of option parts, as run by the Kyosho factory team, such as HD-treated shock bodies, lightweight shock bushings, aeration shock caps, 1.3×8 shock pistons, serrated wheel nuts, a short hard front shock tower, hard front upper A-arm mount, HD-treated aluminium differential gears, 17.5 degree C-hubs as well as a 47T main gear and new-style brake pads. Kyosho Inferno GT3 1/8th nitro on-road kit

Kyosho have released first information on their forthcoming Inferno GT3 1/8th nitro on-road kit. Developed for the ever growing 1/8th GT class, the vehicle is based off of the successful Inferno MP9 TKI4 off-road platform and it is the follow-up model to the long-running and ageing GT2 kit. The kit will feature aluminium big bore shock absorbers and alloy shock stays for improved handling while significantly lighter differential make for quicker acceleration and improved mileage. The suspension components are understood to be taken over from the TKI4 as well while the proven 2-speed gearbox is a reminiscence to the GT2….
