Tekno reveal more EB410 details

Tekno have revealed more details of their forthcoming EB410 1/10th scale 4WD electric buggy kit. Lifting the hood the EB410 appeares to be a shrunken-down version of Tekno’s popular EB48 1/8th E-buggy kit with the centre diff being placed in a rear/centre position while the motor is sitting mid ship. The shorty battery pack found its position in the front, just behind the steering servo while receiver and speed controller are located on the passenger seat, just in front of the motor, leaving the rear section of the chassis pretty much free of everything and making for a somewhat extreme forward weight bias given this is a 1/10th 4WD buggy. The kit is scheduled for a release in a few weeks and for now you can find more images and information after the break.

The 2017 Sikcross Race was held at Southern California’s Pro-Line test track. The race was put on by Levi Jackson with Sik Track Designs and the format was different than the standard IFMAR qualifying, as it is setup more like motocross event with heads up gate starts. The first two rounds of Expert Nitro Buggy qualifying were won by Xray’s Ty Tessmann and after a resort, he was qualifying in the last one in a heads up race with Mugen’s Ryan Maifield who won his first two rounds of qualifying. The two had a really good battle, swapping positions back and forth a couple of times, but when coming out of the sand trap on the last lap, Ty hit a hole that he knew was there but he couldn’t see his car well due to the dust from the sand trap.
