Fenix Racing Associated F6 option parts

New from Fenix Racing, for the Associated F6, comes a full set of 7075 aluminium option parts. The new chassis weighs in at just 84 grams and sports some important features such as the ability to use straight or angled links and a more slim profile of the outer “wing” sections to further reducing scrubbing during cornering. One of the more interesting new parts is the caster adjuster, that allows you to change caster in a matter of second without having to find the right insert. To complete the set there is a 2mm thick 7075 motor pod.

Capricorn C803 front upper arm mounts

Capricorn have introduced this new set of front upper arm mounts for the C803. The new mounts are 1.5mm higher than the standard version. This makes it so that the lower position obtainable with the eccentric inserts is the same height as the central position on the old version, while the higher position allows for a lower roll centre than before. The new mounts also limit the caster adjustment range, and are therefore meant to be used with the new shorter arm pins.

Ronald Völker wins at CTS2 Rd4

Round 4 of CTS2 was held at Hobbytown Fresno, California this weekend and Modified TC was the premier class to watch. With a special guest appearance by team Yokomo driver and reigning World Champion Ronald Volker, he would be the third World Champ to attend the California Touring Series this season. Upon arrival to the track, Volker enjoyed his time with his US comrades and got the chance to meet a lot of his fans in California. Meanwhile as the weekend continued, the Yokomo ace driver showed the way all through practice and race day. Drivers like Eric Albano and Brandon Clements showed really good driving pace to match some of Volker’s hot laps but unable duplicate what Ronald has produced. With a rough start in Q1 for series points leader Team Associated driver Rick Hohwart, he would then complete a stronger qualifier for Q2 which put him in P4 for the show and ended up finishing 3rd in the main while Albano came home in 2nd. Volker controlled the lead from tone to tone in the main taking home a perfect run.
