Trinity 7.4V 5000mAh Turf Tuff Pak LiPo battery

Coming from Trinity is the new 7.4V 2S 5000mAh Turf Tuff Pack LiPo battery. Offering standard shorty dimensions of 96×46.7×24.7mm and being built from high-quality 5000mAh cells the battery is aimed towards racing on high-grip carpet and astro turf tracks whose increased traction can make it tough to not dump the battery towards the end of a run. With the increased capacity making five or even seven minute races with low-turn modified motors is no longer an issue. The battery weighs in at 222g and it utilises 5mm tube-type connectors.

RDRP B6 Titanium Lower Shock Screw Set

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced a Titanium lower shock screw set for the Team Associated B6 and B6D buggies. It includes four lower shock mount screws made from high-quality titanium. The fasteners do away with the standard steel screws and they are of a unique design that only sports threaded sections where they are needed, while areas to which the lower shock eyelet bushings attach are of a plain design for improved durability and precision. The screw heads are also unique in the way that they feature dual 2mm and 5.5mm hex sections that allow to use 2mm hex or 5.5mm nut drivers to fasten or loosen the screws. Included in the set are two front and two rear shock mounting screws.

Noah Dickerson wins Pro Buggy at Ice Breaker

The 2017 Ice Breaker was held in Garland, Texas and in the Pro Nitro Buggy class it was Noah Dickerson who walked away with the win. Coming from the 2 spot on the grid, Noah lead from lap 13 to lap 90 but two flamouts of Noah’s buggy in the pits would promote Tyler Hooks into the lead that he would hold onto until the final lap when Noah was able to strike back and to take the win from Tyler in second and Jake Dellinger third.

Rusti Design carbon fibre fan guards

Available now from French brand Rusti Design are two carbon fibre ESC fan guards. Cut from 1mm high-quality carbon fibre and thus in most cases usable with the original fan mount hardware, the guards not only look good but they can also prevent damage to the fan’s blades by shielding them from larger debris or the speedo’s wires. The guards are available for 25mm or 30mm fans.

Ultimate Racing EFRA 2142 Super Strong exhaust set

Modelix Racing have introduced the Ultimate Racing EFRA 2142 Super Strong off-road exhaust set. The pipe was designed to improve overall engine performance with a linear throttle response in the low to mid RPM range while offering great top end speed. All this is combined with high bottom end torque for improved acceleration out of corners and to clear jumps. The exhaust system includes the polished aluminium pipe, manifold, gaskets and mounting springs.

PR Racing PRS1v3 FM aluminium rear camber plate

PR Racing have introduced an aluminium rear camber plate for the PRS1v3 FM 2WD buggy. Machined from high-quality material and coming black anodised for wear and looks the plate is a direct fit on the rear end of the v3 FM buggy, giving a number of different inner ballstud positions to fine-tune the roll centre settings and thus the handling of the vehicle. In addition the plate allows the fitment of the new optional 1.2mm, 1.3mm and 1.4mm rear swaybars.

Muchmore Race Helper Pro racing condition monitor

Muchmore have introduced the new Race Helper Pro humidity and temperature monitor. The compact size device is easy to use both indoors and outdoors with the large LCD screen displaying the current humidity and temperature as well as highs and lows of both values. With a hinged stand the monitor is also easy to place on pit tables while a magnet on the backside allows to attach the device to magnetic surfaces.
