AGFRC Waterproof Alu Case Micro Digital Servo

Servo manufacturer AGFRC has released a new full aluminium waterproof standard metal 25T spline sub micro servo, the A19DLM. After repeated testing and modifications, this tiny servo gets upgraded materials and workmanship to created a high end digital micro servo. With robust metal structure and gear set, this servo can deliver 4KG.CM (55.6oz-in) super high torque and 0.088sec/60°speed at 8.4V even in this compact size. Easy to install in limit space for lock dig shift usage in different scale model such as 1:18 , 1:10, 1:8 etc. Programmable feature also allow for different users to find the suitable data for their applications. Mächler announced in dual role with Team EAM

Team EAM has announced that newly crowned 1:12 Spec World Champion Max Mächler has joined the brand in a new dual role as both a team driver and Team Manager. The German will the fill the role of Team Manager and becomes the first factory driver for Team EAM Europe as Eric Anderson expands the American brand in 2024. Having a hugely successful World Championship last month in Florida, where Kemp Anderson took the TQ in Modified and 6 of the 10 Finalists used its battery, EAM has partnered with RCK to push its racing activities in Europe with Machler, with an established record with Awesomatix, taking the role. Announcing Machler, EAM said, ‘By stepping up our efforts in the European market with the addition of RCK as our European distributor, we were in need of a leader for our racing activities. Max’s strategic vision and dedication to excellence align perfectly with our team’s goals. His leadership skills, coupled with a profound understanding of RC car racing, will undoubtedly enhance our team’s performance. He’s someone who goes out of his way to make sure all of his team drivers are taken care of, they have everything they need to succeed and he gives whatever it takes to make this happen. Roche Rapide P12V wider Lower arm | Chassis weight set

Specialist 1:12 manufacturer Roche has released two new optional parts for its Rapide P12V in a new wider graphite front lower arm and Chassis weight set. Increasing the width of the graphite front lower arm by 3mm, the new arm gives less aggressive steering making the car easier to drive. The 6gram X 2 Chassis weight set allows for tuning chassis roll to suit different track conditions. Weight on each side provided more smooth steering response for a more stable and easy to drive car.

Brunet joins Yokomo for 2024

Team Yokomo has announced top French touring car racer Antoine Brunet has joined their factory team for 2024. Having represented Xray for the past number of seasons achieving an ETS podium in 2021, numerous French Championship race wins and a podium at the inaugural Mibo International Race this year, on his move to the Japanese manufacturer he said, “I’m very pleased and honored to join an iconic brand like Yokomo. I can’t wait to hit the track with the car. I’m highly motivated for the next races and see what I can achieved with this beast! Thanks to Christopher and Naoya to taking me onboard! I hope we will achieved some great things together. See you soon on track !”

Dankel joins Awesomatix️

Awesomatix has announced the addition of experienced German racer Eric Dankel to its Factory Team. Previously teammate to Ronald Volker at Mugen Seiki, Dankel brings a wealth of experience to the manufacturer which he will now represent both regionally and at European level. Commenting on the announcement, Dankel said, “First of all I want to thank everybody at Mugen Seiki for their support in the past years. I decided to start a new challenge, and I am more than happy to join the Awesomatix Team for the upcoming season. Thanks everyone for your support.”

12-year-old Thilo Baldes joins Serpent Team Europe

Serpent has announced that 12-year-old German racer Thilo Baldes will be racing for Serpent Team Europe from the 2024 season using its recently released 990 Evo 1:8 Onroad chassis. Coming from a strong nitro onroad racing heritage, his father Joerg an accomplished racer and his uncle Uwe well known both as a racer and race promoter, the announcement comes off the back of Thilo’s best season yet. In September 2023, the youngster from Adenau near the famous Nuerburgring achieved his greatest success to date, becoming German Champion in 1:8 nitro onroad racing (Class 2 and German Junior Champion in this class). Set to compete in regional, national and international races, commenting on his new chassis deal, he said, “I am extremely happy and also very proud to be a member of Serpent Team Europe. This is a great opportunity for me. The support is huge! I would like to thank everyone involved for this support and trust, especially Jirka Hassler from 2 speed”. Also supported by Italian engine brand Reds Racing, his father Joerg added, “With the new Serpent 990 Evo and powerful engines from REDS, which we have been using successfully since the Summer, we have an excellent package for the new challenges when Thilo has to move up to National Class 1 after his title win.”

Battle to have a go at 1:8 Onroad with Capricorn

Former 1:8 Offroad World Champion Robert Battle is to try his hand at 1:8 Onroad racing in 2024 with the news the Spaniard has done a deal with one of the categories specialist manufacturers Capricorn. While Battle’s focus is still on his 1:8 Offroad programme with Mayako, he will fit in some onroad racing as he gets to take on the sport’s original category which is something that has intrigued him for some time. Commenting on the announcement from the Italian manufacturer, Battle said, “I’m glad to be part of a pure on road brand like Capricorn, I always said 1:8 onroad was a class to drive soon or later so this year all come true. We will do as many races we will be able due to Offroad Calendar, I’m sure I will learn a lot and also have fun like a kid thank you so much to Capricorn for that opportunity, I will let you all know soon all Package!”

Yokomo BD12 US spec Alu chassis | Body Mounts

New from Yokomo for the 2024 season is this aluminium main chassis for its BD12 1:10 Electric Touring Car. It is a highly rigid US specification with little wall removal, making it ideal for high-grip carpeted surfaces. The centre of gravity is lowered, which is also effective as a high-side countermeasure. The Japanese manufacturer also has new horizontal body mounts compatible with rear body posts that protrude rearward, such as BD12, these mounting parts reliably receive downforce and increase rear traction. Compatible with Twister/Twister Special bodies, the mounting parts are secured to the body using the wing fixing screws. Offset can be adjusted by using the fixing direction of the parts and the included spacers. The height of the body can also be fine-tuned by adjusting spacers on the body post side, such as BD12. This optional part is highly beneficial for race users as it can minimise problems caused by body damage due to crashes, etc.
