Nemo Racing tease A215T 1/8th nitro truggy

Nemo Racing have released first images of their forthcoming A215T 1/8th scale nitro truggy kit. Considered to be “a really big step forward […] over the previous A8T” racers can expect a greatly improved vehicle based off of the successful A215 buggy. The kit is production as we type and expected to be available world wide by about end of November, beginning of December. Detailed information and more images will become available in time for the release.

Schelle Racing Innovations B6 steering bushing kit

Coming from Schelle Racing Innovations and made for the Team Associated B6 series of buggies is the steering bushing tuning kit. The 16-piece set gives racers the option of seven axle height positions in 0.5mm increments as the set includes all 0.5mm increment and 1.0 mm increment steering bushings. They are made of bright machined 7075 aluminium and each set of four pieces is marked with a matching groove to indicate which set they are a part of. The bushings come in conveniently marked snap cases to ensure easy identification.

Thunder Tiger Bushmaster 8E 1/8th 4WD RTR buggy

Thunder Tiger have introduced their all-new Bushmaster 8E 1/8th scale ready-to-run E-buggy. The vehicle is based on an aluminium main chassis, it features a 3-differential drivetrain, 2-piece sliding motor mount, threaded 16mm aluminium big bore shock absorbers and aluminium shock stays. The kit, that shares many design elements – such as the front and rear suspension – with the 2014 Team Associated RC8 prototype, is rounded out by a 10.5kg-cm high-torque metal gear steering servo, a 2000kv brushless motor and a 100A waterproof speed controller.

JConcepts B6 3-gear Honeycomb laydown motor plate

Coming from JConcepts is a honeycomb design laydown motor plate for the Team Associated B6 2WD buggy. Being of a lightweight yet rigid design the motor plates does away with bending issues often associated with flat surface plates as the 3D honeycomb design makes for improved rigidity in multiple directions. The honeycomb features also add a 3D look as they remain natural aluminium while the rest is available in blue or black anodised colours. Slight chamfering on the 3mm thickness material allows the rather beefy direct-replacement plate to look quite slim and trim.

6th Annual JConcepts Fall Brawl – Announcement

The 6th Annual JConcepts Fall Brawl will be held on October 5th at the world-famous Silver Dollar R/C Raceway in Chico, California. The track has been redesigned to support both 1/10-scale and 1/8-scale racing; eBuggy will be offered as an alternate class at the Fall Brawl. There will be race classes for everyone including Open and Pro divisions based on skill level and also the popular “First Family of RC” title will be awarded. This year’s format will be the same as in years’ past with the finishes of kids 14 and under with their father’s finishing position will be combined to determine the overall position. AKA Double Down 1/8th buggy tyre

AKA’s 2016 IFMAR World Championship winning Double Down tyre will soon become available for the public. Seen for the first time during last week’s worlds and designed to fit between the Impact and the Zipp in the AKA tyre line the tyre is best used when having a slightly dusty track and when better wear characteristics are needed. The pin size and spacing has been designed to give more room for dust to clear the tread pattern yet still have the pin density across the carcass to give it great wear characteristics. The Double Down will be available in standard soft and super soft compound as well as long wear medium and super soft variants including red inserts or as pre-mounts on white or yellow disc wheels.

Serpent SRX2 optional A-arms & MH wing mounts

Serpent have introduced a range of new A-arms for the SRX2 buggy. First up are new hard-compound front arms. Almost flex-free yet very durable the arms are best used in very high-grip conditions such as carpet, astro turf and prepped clay. Next up are updated rear arms for the SRX2 and also the SRX4. The new design allows to run the shock absorbers both in the front and the rear of the arm. The wishbones are available as standard and hard variant as well as longer variant for improved track width and the use on lower grip track, again available as standard and hard compound variant. The long wishbones need to be run with the optional longer rear driveshafts. Last but not least come the new shorter MH type SRX2 wing mounts that are usable with setups that utilise rear dampers that are mounted in front of the rear A-arm.

Kyosho MT-4WD Psycho Kruiser VE 1/8th monster truck

Kyosho have introduced the MT-4WD Psycho Kruiser VE 1/8th scale ReadySet monster truck. The vehicles is based on a low-profile 4WD 3-differential chassis comparable to the popular Inferno truggy and it is equipped with a 1500kv Team Orion Neon 7 brushless motor and a 6S LiPo-compatible brushless controller. A shock-resistant, hardened battery case protects the LiPo battery while big bore threaded aluminium shock absorbers, aluminium shock towers and front and rear anti-roll bars keep the truck on track despite the extreme power it is able to develop. The included Syncro KT-201 2.4GHz radio system offers a fail-safe function for the unlikely event of signal loss and the included KS-203 steering servo was taken over from the 1/7th scale Scorpion XXL to ensure steering authority when the going gets tough. The ready-to-run truck is rounded out by an aerodynamic bodyshell and grippy tyres on multi-spoke rims.
